"Anything else? Anything else? Anything else?"
I ordered three sandwiches and two drinks yesterday and apparently it was enough of an inconvenience for the kid at the window I had to be accosted with that question after each item I ordered. I've had no issue ordering delivery from this location, but any time I'm there in person... the customer service is awful. The food is usually pretty well made too, but the negativity surrounding customer service at this location makes me have to question the management.
If the employees are this unhappy I can't help to wonder why? Is the pressure so immense to get the food out "freaky fast" that it's burning out the employees here? I want my food quickly, sure, but I'd rather they take the time to make it right and not feel like their job is on the line in order to meet specific times. That pressure doesn't rub off well. I've worked in high-pressure environments myself and I understand that when you're being asked to work like a robot it can take a major toll on morale.
I already don't enjoy ordering at drive thru windows. I have a low voice and some social anxiety. But I suck it up and deal with it when I have to feed the family. I'm not happy being treated as though my simple order is exorbitant or that I'm asking for too much when I didn't even ask for a single sandwich to be altered in any way. I'm very unhappy with this visit and I'd like to say I wouldn't return. But they're the only JJ nearby and my family likes the food. If it's like this on future visits, I will just take my issue above...
Read moreChicken Jalapeno wrap is surprisingly good. Employees all need a class on customer service and professional edicate. Don't think any of the employees working wanted to he there and it showed from the moment I entered until I left. Poor talking points between employees. 4 sets of customers besides me came in and all got the cold shoulder treatment. Typical corp feel, classic Jimmy's decor could not cover the toxic vibe the staff gave off. When I entered there was one other customer and not a clean table. 4 or 5 employees standing around complaining. 3 girls building sandwiches as fast as they could between grips about orders. Teenage boys taking orders at the counter and drive thru had the most negative customer comments of course they didn't do it to the customers face but maybe wait for lobby customers to leave, before judging us. Hint guys, we as customers don't care why the Drive Thru customer annoyed you and really don't want to hear it. The atmosphere and service didn't help the food. Food would have scored higher but the place just left a...
Read moreUPDATE: AFTER MORE THAN A WEEK OF WAITING WITH NO RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER IT APPEARS THEY DO NOT CARE TO MAKE ANY EFFORT TO RECTIFY THE ISSUES I HAVE REPORTED. THIS LOCATION WILL NO LONGER RECEIVE MY BUSINESS. I always enjoy Jimmy John's sandwiches, but this particular location on Happy Valley road in Nampa just can't get it right! Every time I place a delivery order they screw it up. First time, they delivered it to the wrong location. I called the manager and they told me "they are on their way to pick it up from where they delivered it and bring it to you". I asked if they could just make the order over (2 sandwiches) and send it out as I was concerned about it being handled by other people. The manager refused. Not cool! Then, the next time I ordered they totally messed up one of the sandwiches. Charged me for bacon but did not put it on, told them to hold the bread and they didn't. Hey, everyone makes mistakes, but it seems like management of this particular JJ's feels no responsibility to make them right. That's just...
