I love a spontaneous moment. I love it even more when someone accommodates my spontaneous moment. Thankfully, Zach caught on to the vibes. Yes, the live music events at Jam Cellars are fantastic and needed here in Napa city. They do an excellent job booking extraordinary artists. However, today…a sleepy Tuesday when a local just needs a quiet moment with well crafted bubbles, a snack, and a perfect soundtrack …it feels kind of like an event just for me. Our first introduction to JaM wines began at a sampling at the Andaz Hotel. Emanuel was offering guests samples of their Cabernet Sauvignon and after enjoying a glass he invited us to taste more next door. At JaM cellars the first thing that caught our attention is the curated musical choices and decor. We were greeted by Zach who recommended several options for us to taste. We chose the Gold tasting which offered a great variety of reds. Zach is personable, friendly, and informative throughout the tasting session. First stop in Napa and we loved the aesthetic. We were the only ones in there and Melanie (I hope I got that right) went above and beyond to help us get our lives together hahaha. She went and called her favorite vineyards to try to squeeze us in and did great enticing us to try the Jello-O shots when we didn’t even know if we wanted to stay.

The Jell-O shots I believe she said were rosè, caviar and lime pop rocks were the best jellos we ever had. Ended up ordering multiple rounds for our group of 6. We loved that she allowed a member in our party to pick-up a guitar form the wall and play. We started singing and had a grand ole’ time by ourselves!
