I was sitting around yesterday, waiting for the police to come as the desk guy called the cops on me, I wrote a bad review while I was waiting. I’ve thought it over and saw the nasty response from the desk guy, I wanted to set it straight. Levi told me the second I walked in I would need a full new set because he did not care for the set I had on, brand new tips on my left hand, a few damaged ones on my right hand. He insisted I get a new set because he didn’t know what type of acrylic powder was used on my nails and because it’s part of his scam. I said “what is the difference on price? Rather than explaining the difference he holds up a menu and says, here. I see fill is $45 and full set is $50. I look to him to confirm it’s only a $5 difference. I say fine, if it’s a $5 difference then I’m ok with a new set. I’m escorted to my pedicure spot and a nail tech is working on my feet and another gets started removing my nails. At this point, I think it’s only a $5 difference. The tech cuts my tips in place off and soaks the acrylic off. Once my nails were off the tech asks for my paper to show me the cost. It’s at this moment I find out they charge to take off the old set when I’m paying for a new one, this is not normal for a nail salon. I also find out that they have extra charges to put the tips they cut off back on, and a charge to shape the nail. The total for just my nails went from the anticipated $50 to $75. I’m clearly upset and the desk guy tells me that it’s because of the nail art that I wanted. I wanted my 3 middle fingers french tip and 2 solid colors on the outside. Somehow to him, that’s a very tough design. That simple design was $40 extra. As long as I’ve done my nails artwork that simple would never cost that much. I’m clearly upset at this point. I say this is not what I was expecting and said I no longer want my nails done there. My pedicure was well under way at this point so I was going to let them finish that service. When the tech asks for color on my toes I say a gel color and I’m informed then that gel on my toes is an extra $20. I felt completely tricked by this establishment and was so upset that I let them start work without them going over cost until the work had started. I said no paint, I’ll pay for my pedicure and go. The desk guy tells me that I need to pay for removal of my nails. I would have never let them take the old ones off if I knew how their scam worked. I said, no, I’m not paying for a service that 1) I did not want 2) was not informed of the cost prior to starting work. Levi comes out to the area where I was waiting for the cops, and tells me they are on their way. We argue more about the service and he asks “why would you agree to get it done if you knew the costs before hand?” I explain I was not discussed price until my nails were already off. He looks angry, he talks to the nail tech and she confirms that yes, my nails were already off when she discussed price. Levi said. “She is going to pay for your nail removal since she did not follow our policy of discussing price first” I tell him that makes him a terrible boss but whatever. I pay, ask if I need proof to give to the police that we settled the matter. He said no, I will call and cancel my request for their assistance. As if this whole scenario wasn’t embarrassing enough, he responded to my complaint by shifting the blame to me and just all around disparaging me. This was the literal worst experience I have ever had. His staff did not follow his policies and somehow I was being dragged for complaining about it. So yes, Levi, this is my second time posting my experience with you, your staff and how awful I was treated. I’ll keep checking on this salon because I won’t be surprised if it...
Read moreMy sister and I stopped in on Sunday around noon. I admit we did not have an appointment and they were busy. Every chair was full. We were told that our wait would be 20 minutes. 50 minutes later, we were called to return. My sister got dip so she was started first, while I was going to get a standard mani. They did not start working on my nails for another 40 minutes. Which, honestly, would have been fine if they said they didnt have time for us today, or only just one of us. It was obvious that the person who was supposed to do my nails was at lunch. But when she came back, it was obvious that she felt rushed. She filed all my nails, and instantly I noticed that something was wrong. She was going directly onto my skin with the file board. Then she started pushing and cutting my cuticles and immediately, I started bleeding. From. Every. Single. Finger. Im a pathological people pleaser who never wants to ruffle any feathers so I was gritting my teeth through the pain while my sister is having the best experience of her life with nails. When I was about to quit the whole experience before she painted my nails, my attendant, Theresa, told me that she was worried about my cuticles because my skin is so thin. And then worried Im going to leave her a bad review because of it. So then I gaslight myself into thinking it's my fault my nails are bleeding. Its been three days and my sisters nails look amazing and Im slathering on neosporin and bandaids on my red and swollen cuticles. After Theresa finished my nails, she immediately goes to another client and apologizes for the wait. So definitely book an appointment, don't walk in or they will rush to their (and yours) detriment.
07-12-25 6 days later and the last Pic is what my cuticles look like. I will admit the manager has reached out to me several times, but I have not called back. I'm done.
07-13-25 Responding to owner Levi's reply: Bro really thinks I was down to spend $40 and faked the pics of my cuticles just to review-bomb...
Read moreFirst visit: It was great, however I was the only person in the salon, this was on May 24th 45 mins before closing time.
Second visit: I absolutely was treated differently 1) because I’m not Caucasian and 2) I had my 5yr old niece with me (unfortunately I had to bring her with me) A couple things I did not appreciate and due to these reasons I will not be returning
It’s very obvious they want a certain type of clientele in there and I guess I don’t fit that description, but it’s OK :) I can always take my money elsewhere. I would not recommend this place if you have kid(s), they were not kid friendly. Thank you.
Your employees gave a 5 year old weird looks and she wasn’t bothering anyone. I will be telling everyone about my experience at your salon. I would’ve happily paid for the gel removal, but the tip I left that wasn’t even deserved should cover that. Have a...
