HINT cheesesteak minus steak add chicken, to start..."cheesechicken"?

Cheesesteaks and buffalo chicken wraps are TERRIFIC!
Chicken croquettes also yumville! Don't miss the cajun fries, also terrific!
Back to the traditional spot, what an excellent location, could not be easier in/out.
UPDATE December 2023
Yes, a new location for the truck but it's very convenient and fun and worth the minimal effort! Close to the OG spot, which is cool. Slightest feel of an easy adventure which adds to the overall experience, in my book. Now open earlier on Sundays, too.
Quick in/out (very convenient to Hwy 29) and you can sit in the warm, cozy, and beautiful building 20 feet away and enjoy that space as you relax and dine, which was a blast! If it's cold or damp, it's a perfect option. Perfect on nice days as well!
Tried two new things for me and they both boast the same super-high quality ingredients, imagination, preparation technique, and results as the rest of the menu.
SIDE NOTE Fries have arrived! Regular and/or cajun spiced, great portions with crispy hits from first bite to the last! The people spoke that they wanted them and Joella's listened and responded! DIG IN
Butternut Squash salad: bright and snappy, and for a confirmed meatatarian like me it was a nice change of pace option. Plenty of firm, savory, seasoned & roasted butternut squash cubed up and nestled in fresh slightly peppery-tasting arugula with crumbled feta cheese, pepitas (pumpkin seeds), and a perfect-sized container of lemon and honey vinaigrette you apply as you like when you are ready to dive in. Great deal at $12, add some piping-hot fries on the side and vegetarians will be enthralled! REALLY GOOD
Perla's Chilaquiles Sandwich: Tender thinly-sliced steak with silky Sunday Gravy, moistened yet still slightly crunchy chips, and the Belfiore fresh mozzarella and basil. That mozz is so delicious and the basil sets it all off, the whole thing has a mouth-feel that pops! I love it that Perla, a loyal and skilled cohort at the truck, has her name in lights and is credited for her inventive and delicious idea. This example of the ethic of the business is one that is a nice bonus to devouring a wonderful sandwich, and the smile she shows when she sees someone enjoying her creation is fulfilling. $16 is a real value proposition, too.

I did not want to bury the lede so above is my pocket review if this becomes TLDR!
I'd driven by the cheerful orange trailer, conveniently parked just off California Blvd's traffic circle at 2nd Avenue (seconds off of Highway 29 and the First Avenue exit) a few times, noted their alluring "Fried Chicken Sandwiches" sign, and always thought "I gotta try that place out."
Well, the final push was noting their inclusion on the SF Chronicle's article on Top Food Trucks in...
Read moreThey say the best things in life you don’t have to go searching for - I’ve been on a mission to find the best Chicken Caesar wrap in the bay. However, this was a spot that I stumbled upon on my way in to Napa, and I did not expect it to complete my mission. I thought what I ordered was a simple buffalo chicken wrap. Turns out it was the best Buffalo Chicken Caesar wrap I’ve ever had. No croutons, but the chicken breading is so crispy and crunchy you don’t even need it. The chicken is juicy, the sauces aren’t overpowering and the portion is incredibly generous. I came back twice in one weekend for the wrap. My partner had the chicken sandwich which was also delicious in its own respect. The other menu items looked delicious, but it will be hard for me to move away from this wrap now. call and order ahead if you have somewhere to be, because they can get pretty busy during lunch hours. The wait is so,...
Read moreDo you remember the race for the best spicy chicken sandwich? Well, in my opinion we found the winner. That’s right, in a food truck on the side of an auto mechanic. It has established its roots and Napa should be proud to call it their own. We ordered the original chicken sandwich and the eggplant sandwich. I was first enticed by the homemade sourdough bun. It wasn’t heavy at all and a HUGE perk to the sandwich. The eggplant was thick and delicious. It had the same toppings (coleslaw, pickles, and spicy sauce) as the chicken sandwich. I LOVED the coleslaw and thought the sandwiches had the perfect amount of heat. Yes, it was $18 per sandwich which seems steep but you are in Napa so it is par for the course. I would say try it out! It was not...
