Harold's Place Chickee Bar And Grill — Restaurant in Naples

The place is nice but the menu prices are not what they charge. I got a bacon cheese burger with fries and a drink. I was charged 30 bucks. Nothing special just an ok burger, about 13 fries and an 8oz diet coke. Menu says 13.95 for bacon cheese buger. 3.50 more for fries and 2.95 for an 8oz cup of pop. That's not 30 bucks but waiter pointed out that prices are subject to change. What? And you don't post the current prices on menu?? No thanks Harold's. Been to this place a few times when I come to visit from Indy but this week be my last visit to Harold's save your money and go to micky d's. You get same size burger and more fries and a way bigger drink for half of what I paid.

Harold's is a hell of a cool place to hangout, unwind, chill, and get that Florida vibe. This is a local original with awesome burgers. Not a 5th Avenue type restaurant. It's a chickee bar with thatched roof so you feel like you're on vacation even if you live here. The staff is incredible and most of them have been around for years because that's the kind of place this is. You'll also find very loyal "regulars" tucked away in this hidden gem. The prices are right, especially for the Naples scene. People who know, know Harold's is the place to be. When I overhear someone ask for the wine list like it's the Ritz Carlon, I laugh to myself and think, dude you're at Harold's. Chillax and enjoy a house glass of grapes. I found this place on a list of best 10 burgers in Naples. Not even close! Hopefully they were just having a bad day, as it was a Sunday afternoon and packed. The empty tables were filthy, but we sat at one and eventually a waitress came and took away the plates, but never bothered to wipe down the filthy table.

Put the order and never saw the waitress until we were finished and wanted the check, even though we need ketchup to cover up the fact that the fries were almost raw! My burger was supposed to be medium, it was more like seared ahi tuna — deep red throughout, I was starving and guessed correctly that we wouldn’t see the waitress anytime soon, so I ate half of it anyway.
