I went with two others, it was our first time there. Atmosphere was casual and clean and busy (but not too loud nor uncomfortable nor too crowded). A typical Mexican restaurant. It was around 6-6:30pm. The place was packed with people at the bar, dining in and outside.. & still we were seated immediately, waited on and served in beyond exceptional timing (with only one bar tender and only one waiter). Ben the waiter was absolutely great! He had no problem answering all of our questions, he smiled the whole time, was clear and understandable when speaking, friendly, fun, polite, knowledgeable of the menu, attentive (but still gave us space), he was exact with our order and he delivered promptly. We all will definitely go back and also refer friends and family! The bill was just about $60 (including tip) for the three of us. We each had a typical sized & very, very strong margarita (green iguana for the other two & harvest moon for myself), we shared an appetizer veggie/nacho platter with guacamole in addition to their freshly made chips and salsa.. All were made to order, hot, fresh and very delicious! The portion size of the platter could have been a little bigger for the price, but it was ok for us since we also ate the chips and salsa. The three of us were extremely satisfied with our drinks, food and service! The restaurant itself, inside and out (including the restroom!) was very clean and well maintained. I recommend checking...
Read moreGreat service, but mediocre food and an insect problem. The experience walking through the entrance of the restaurant should have made us leave. There were spider webs all over the place, and the entry smelled like urine. But we stayed, because once inside, the smells were good and the decor was festive. I wish I could give more stars, because the service was excellent. My husband’s and my meals were good but kind of like eating at a friend’s mom’s house as kids. His fajita burrito had a less-than-generous helping of fajita meat. My seafood flautas had an unfortunate fishy flavor. We have three young kids, and we chose this place because they had a kids menu, but their food was completely inedible. I felt bad, because I had scolded them for not eating, then tasted the awful food for myself. The server let them try something else for free, but it was equally inedible. How do you mess up a cheese quesadilla? Fortunately, the chips and salsa were delicious. In an effort to leave with full tummies, we let the kids order dessert. The fried ice cream was good but served in a stale tasting tortilla bowl. The lava cake, while delicious, had no lava. Upon returning home, we all had bug bites. Will NOT...
Read moreWe stepped inside and the lady who "greeted" us told us to give her a few minutes. She was clearly doing something on the computer she could've done after seating us but we waited. Then another couple came in who knew this lady so she stopped what she was doing on the computer to seat us so she can seat this couple right away. We asked for a booster chair for our little girl. Didn't get one because this lady was in such a rush she forgot. Then our waitress came to take our order. We had to ask for crayons twice because I guess our little one didn't look like she wanted to color. Then we got another waitress who was going to take care of us, she was just late to work. She was nice though. We asked for a spoon when we got our food but she forgot. Then came up to our table to ask how's everything and then it clicked to her and ran off to get a spoon for us but by that point our daughter was done eating. The lady who greeted us was in a rush to leave and was just running up and down. It almost looked like she just wanted to make sure everyone knows how busy she is. It was just annoying. Food was okay. Overall not a fan...
