I would have gave 1 star only but the tuna tartare save the say (picture below). Tuna was fresh and well mixed portioning with avocado. Other than that, the experience went downwards. It was a nice sunny day so we decided to go to a new sushi place to sit outside. Ordered tuna tartare for appetizer. I ordered ramen noodles and my husband had swordfish hibachi. Raman noodles: noodles is more like chinese egg noodle than real ramen. The soup is way too salty and is not thick like ramen should be, really thin soup. There was small 2 pieces of roasted pork and the rest was all noodles and soup. Big disappointed for a japanese restaurant. Hubby had swordfish habachi. He could not eat the rice. Swordfish was cut in small 1in cube, expected to have hibachi grilled flavor. No! Instead, the fish was a bit watery doubt that it was frozen fish not fresh. Paid $70 did not include tips. Unhappy experience. I don't normally leave bad feedback. But when we were sitting there, the waiter cleaning our table and talked bad behind another customer's back to us. Wth really???

There have been a few hibatchi restaurants in this location. This was ok. I enjoyed the mushroom soup and the ginger dressing on the salad was good. The chef asked who was over 21 and proceeded to shoot sake into our mouths with squeeze bottle. 😉These were the highlights. Now the fried rice didn't have much to it, a few frozen veggies and egg. I ordered the sirloin which was cooked to my liking. My daughter ordered shrimp which was ok. The portions were lunch so no shrimp appitizer. And they do not cook sprouts. The waitress was slow at refilling drinks at the table, they were not busy. The woman across from us ordered a beer and waited at least 15 minutes for it. My daughter ordered a salmon sushi combo and was not impressed. The fish was stale. We had a 15% coupon from the valupak so the price wasn't too bad. All in all it was a decent lunch.

Me and my husband came here on a busy Saturday night, so it was pretty full at the restaurant when we walked in but we didn't wait too long. We ordered two chef's special rolls: "Spicy bad girl" and "G-dragon" and some miso soups! They were all very tasty!! Each roll was about $15 or something, a little pricy consider it didn't come with a lot of food, but it can make a good snack if you aren't too hungry and looking for a big meal. Staffs were very busy running around but they were still pretty friendly and efficient to deliver our orders! Overall, it was a pleasant experience dining there! Will be back if we come back visit :)

Went there today with my wife to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Had a wonderful time. The server was really great, taking our order promptly and very accommodating to us when we asked for anything. She brought our food to us in short order ( my wife ordered the Happy Family and I ordered the Calamari Hibachi). When she was taking our order, we mentioned that today was our wedding anniversary. She asked us if we would like any drinks- and even mentioned champagne as a celebratory toast- but we politely declined - mentioning that we are taking certain medications that wouldn't mix well. She said no problem, but brought us our beverages right away. We told her that we wished to order a Pu-Pu platter for 2 to take home, and she made sure that it was ready when we were ready to leave. The chef did a terrific job. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her meal and requested a container to take home what she was unable to finish. The waitress brought a container and put the food in it for my wife. I'm a big fan of Japanese food and my calamari was grilled perfectly. Nice and tender, you could easily cut it with a fork. The salad came with it was nice and crisp, with a delicious ginger dressing. The vegetable fried rice was nice and moist and the stir-fried vegetables were done in a beautiful sauce. All along, our waitress would check to see if there was anything we needed. For her promptness, we tipped her well. She had a surprised look on her face when we paid our bill and saw the tip. We told her that she and the chef had done a great job in making our anniversary dinner a really enjoyable experience. Truly a great place to eat. I would recommend the Sakura anyone who enjoys Chinese or...

Be warned when it comes to ari and your card. I was being checked out for a pickup order by someone else. Something happened and the card I had with me ended up being short so I still owed $2.70. I told the employee sorry just give me a few minutes. I stepped to the side left my card and figured it out. Then also had gotten on a call. Keep in mind I left the food with the employee and was still in the resturant. When I went back to complete my payment a few minutes later my card was gone. The other employee was confused as well. Turned out ari had walked over taken my card and gone to a different area of the restaurant with it. Didn’t tell me and I never even spoke to him. When he came back he said I was on the phone so he took it and couldn’t tell me but he has to make sure the food was paid for. Even though He took my card away from the resister. When I was upset he yelled at me then apologized. That is unacceptable to just take someone card somewhere in the resturant especially when you didn’t help me. Then when I’m telling him to charge my card so I can leave he kept saying how r u going to pay. It took 5 minutes and another employee to tell him to just charge my card. And they even told him he can’t just hold me here. I kept telling him it’s only $2.70 and he was confused. Then charged my card and I had to ask for my card back again. Honestly sickening to me I’ve never in my life had any issue like this. Especially over food that was sitting on the counter and I’m in the restaurant. He said he will be waiting for my review so here it is. If I ever see him when I walk in again I will definitely be leaving right away. The other employee also...

Let me preface that we love the food here and service is usually uncomplainable. We understand that going out looking for dinner without a reservation at 6 PM....we were going to wait. But we arrived around 610 and we were told "50" minutes. The girl took my name and we waited. We came back inside (us and our 2 small children and 1 infant) 45 minutes later. I checked back in with her and she informed me "just 20 more minutes". We figured we waited this long and the front had filled up so we should be seated semi next. No. Another half an hour later and another family had told us they were also told 45 minutes over an hour ago. A table cleared and a larger group with a reservation was seated. No problem. Another table opens up and were on over an hour and a half wait. I touch base again when we are NOT sat. Others in the lobby were also perturbed and giving this poor girl the run about in complaints. As I'm trying to ask again, how much longer we go on hour number 2 with no end in sight to a wait. She informed me that the large party was over half an hour late for their reservation and it threw everything off. Their system for waiting sucks. They need to review it and accommodate people that patiently wait when people miss their windows. They were going to try to squish all 5 of us with a highchair at a table already in progress of their hibachi. INSANE. We left and went to McDonalds, atleast so our kids who waited for 2 hours could eat dinner at 830. Everyone in the lobby was told less than an hour and also had waited...
