An interesting story/interaction happened here. We went in to Cici's in Hermitage to eat dinner. As we are standing in line, my husband went to the side door to make sure our car was locked (because his ocd wife needs to hear the beep). As he was coming back in the lady at the register looked at him, then spoke over the family placing their order in front of us and proceeded to ask him "Sir, sir are you ok?"Like he had committed a crime. He looked at me confused, as I was looking at him extremely confused. He asked me, "was she talking to me?" She said it again and he said "I'm ok are you". Once we approached the register he simply asked "Did I do something wrong?" She said "I was just checking on you". He then said "Checking what exactly? ". At that point, she refused to make eye contact with him or even acknowledge he was there. Hence, he was the one placing the order and paying. I was baffled and proceeded to ask why she refused to acknowledge his presence. She said he is being confrontational and to avoid that I was avoiding looking at him. I said we literally don't know what is going on, then she just walked away. Got another co-worker to come over and talk to us. We asked for the manager. She came over and the co-worker proceeded to tell the manager what was going on in Spanish, so we could not understand what was being said, which was highly unprofessional!!!! My mind is literally blown away by what happened! So we left.
After discussing it further amongst ourselves, we laughed and thought maybe KAREN was having a...
Read moreOver the last decade, this Cici's Pizza location has gone from fun and a good value to depressing and plain old bad.
About 10 years ago when they first opened, this used to be one of our regular places to take our three young children. The quality of food and experience had gone downhill over the last number of years. Last time we tried it was probably 2 years ago in 2015. The manager ticked me off so much we left without eating. Since it had been a couple years, I thought we might as well give them another chance to see if anything has changed. Unfortunately, it changed for the worse.
Back in the day, every guest used to get greeted with a hearty "Welcome to CiCi's!" Based on our last visit, I think you're more likely to get an argument if you get any eye contact at all. One exception to that was the young man who was bussing the tables. He was polite and the only employee that I thought was doing a perfectly fine job.
This may have been the first salad bar I've ever seen with no cheese on it. When I asked a manager, I was told that they keep the cheese hidden because there was so much waste. She gave me a couple of small plastic containers of cheese.
None of the pizza was good. The cinnamon rolls were okay and the brownies were also fine. But certainly not enough to make me want to come back for any of the food.
The furniture, floor, fixtures, & decorations were all in need of replacement, repair or upgrade.
Are all...
Read moreThis is our family's go-to pizza restaurant. No matter the day of the week or the time of day, the place is always bustling with people, and fresh pizzas are constantly being served, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. The wait time is minimal, and the quality of the food remains consistently good, which makes every visit enjoyable.
The staff is very friendly, and among them, the tall, curly-haired male staff member stands out for his exceptional service. He is always welcoming and attentive, making the dining experience even more pleasant. The restaurant has a lively and energetic atmosphere, making it a great place to visit with family, friends, or even as a casual date spot.
Most of the pizzas here are delicious, but my personal favorites are the BBQ pizza and the Supreme pizza with a thin crust. Both are incredibly flavorful and never disappoint. The prices are also quite reasonable, making this restaurant an excellent choice for anyone looking for great pizza at an affordable price. I highly...
