Rude staff but the food is decent. I was passing through on my way to ohio from Texas. We don’t have place like this in Texas so this was my first visit. I went to the drive thru because I couldn’t tell if dine in was open, I wasn’t expecting the menu to be as big as it was so I had to take a minute to look over everything. Whoever took my order was rude, whoever was working the window to take payment and give food was rude. I’m not sure if it was her first day, but she looked so confused, she didn’t even speak.
I had to go back thru to get my burger fixed, they added mayo instead of mustard! When she handed me my second burger, it was incorrect too, they added the mustard, but left off the veggies. I don’t even care that my order was wrong because it’s too easy to go back and get it corrected, but the lack of customer service and communication is baffling.
Edit to add: I didn’t see how on the menu how much a cheeseburger meal was, but after reading some other reviews I decided to check my receipt. I asked for a cheeseburger with a small Cajun fry and medium coke. They rang me up for a cheeseburger, large Cajun fry, water (that I didn’t order at all) and a huge coke it came...
Read moreThe food and service were actually good. It’s hard to find fast food workers these days that actually act like they give a damn when they’re talking to you. However, the person behind the counter was very nice and pleasant.
However, the dining area was so dirty it was almost too nasty to sit in. I took at seat in one of the cleanest dirty booths and proceeded to eat for about 15 minutes. In all that time (and business was slow at that moment) not once did an employee come out and sweep, mop, wipe down the tables.....nothing.
When I worked in fast food years ago, if we weren’t talking to customers or cooking we were cleaning the dining area and the bathrooms. The place was spotless.
You HAVE the employees there. Make them do that! I assure you it will have customers wanting to come back again, and they will tell their friends about their positive experience (unlike me who is telling my friends about my negative experience). A place of business can get a reputation quick, good or bad.
And it is just so much more sanitary, and maybe the employees will feel more pride in their workplace if it’s nice and clean. This isn’t rocket...
Read moreAgainst my better judgment as this continues to be an issue at the Charlotte pike location. I stopped by to pick up food for my family and the dining room is still closed so I went through the drive through. Every item I ordered was followed by "What else" in possibly the rudest tone the young man could use. I only ordered a burger meal and a corn dog meal so it's not like I had a long or complicated order. Typically in most fast food establishments a manager would also have a head set on and if this is condoned behavior from your employee on taking orders it's very sad that you care this little with the numerous options in the area. I've been in the food service industry for 20 years and upper management for the last 10, someone from corporate needs to make a unannounced visit and see just how the customers here are being treated. Cook out has great food it's just sad to see customers being treated like they've done something wrong for just wanting to eat here. I visited on January 8th...
