We held our wedding reception at Diskin Cider in January 2024, and to say it's exactly what we dreamed of would be an understatement. We love the aesthetic of the facility as it is, so we didn't need to bring much in the way of decor. The industrial-chic vibes made for some really spectacular photos and a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.
I can't say enough amazing things about how my wedding day went, and a huge part of that is thanks to Todd Evans and the rest of the staff at Diskin. I was able to focus solely on the whole getting married part of the day without a single concern of how the reception would be pulled off. There was an abundance of communication, reassurance and understanding. Even when there was a change in the event staff, it was seamless. You'd never have known, and being able to stay steady despite hiccups is exactly what you want for such a big day.
We've had many compliments on how our reception was the best many of our guests had ever been to, and believe me when I say that was our ultimate goal. Diskin helped us create the perfect event for my husband and me. It was low key, an utter blast and exactly the size venue we needed for our 150-guest wedding. I'm extremely type A and constantly the "mom friend" making sure everyone is doing well and having fun, but I didn't have to think about that for a second. It's the wedding gift I didn't know I was receiving.
I could wax poetic for much longer about how the staff at Diskin made us feel welcome and special, but all I'll say is I would pick this location, this team and, of course, this cider ten...
Read moreGreat local cidery with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Even though it is a large, open space, it still has a cozy vibe. It was busy, but not so busy that we had to wait long to get food and drinks. If you’ve never been to the cidery, it is worth noting that there are two signs at either end of the bar that read “Order Here”. You can order from either end of the bar. For some reason, the vast majority people head to the “order here” sign in the right, while the one in the left usually has no line. Additionally, you can also just walk up to the bar and order from anywhere. I’m not sure if this is what Diskin wants to happen, but that’s what happens sometimes, and I’ve never seen the bartenders tell anyone to go get in line to order. This can be a bit frustrating when you’ve been waiting in line for a while only to see someone bypass the line and order from the middle of the bar. The staff are friendly and the food and cider (and beer) selections are great. Lots of fun and a convivial atmosphere. Even if I’ve had to wait a long time for a drink, it’s always...
