Jalisco — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

We chose his place because co-workers told us that they had really good margaritas. When we arrived it was about an hour before they closed they stated that we needed to place our drink orders because the bar would be closing. I have not known a Mexican restaurant to close their bar and hour before the restaurant closes. We play star drink orders and one of our friends came late. She asked the waiter was it too late to order her drink which was 2 minutes past the time. He advised her that she could not order any alcoholic drinks. 5 minutes later, a group of guys walked in and went to the bar they were allowed to order alcoholic beverages. She got up and went to the bar and was able to place an order. She asked the bartender did the bar close an hour before the restaurant closed, he stated they closed the bar 15 minutes before the restaurant close. This was very disappointing. When we received our drinks they were watered down and taste like the syrup. We finally have received our food which was 20 minutes before the restaurant had closed. Our waiter advised us that the restaurant will be closing soon. This is not good customer service you are to let your guests finish eating and then close up, not rush them. Will I be going back?...

Not the best dining experience I’ve had in a while. 🫤 The taste of the food was good (not terrible)🤷🏻‍♂️, but immediately following, it did NOT sit well 🚽 and I spent the next few hours in a great deal of discomfort. 😬😵‍💫🧻😂

FOOD: Chips and salsa were good and seemed fresh. 👍🏻 I ordered the Chicken Chimichanga and it arrived promptly, and as ordered (no sour cream). The taste was good 👍🏻 but the queso was a bit different than white queso that I’m used to. 🫤Not terrible, just a different taste, but not my favorite. Portion size was plenty. 👍🏻

SERVICE: It’s a bit like the rest of the experience. Not terrible, but not fantastic. 😑 The place wasn’t crowded, but the waiter took his time with refills and any follow up. I’m not a debutant, 🤴and I don’t need much attention, but just take care of the basics, which I felt was a swing and a miss. 🏌🏼‍♂️

OVERALL: Typically, I try to find the positive, and there were some good points here. I can’t 100% say that my intestinal discomfort 🤢 (which is pretty rare for me) was just because of the restaurant, but I was good before coming in and was fine the next day. 🤷🏻‍♂️😎 Three stars is the BEST I...

Called in a order today around 5:13pm the lady who answered the phone had a nasty attitude. Was being very sarcastic..... hung up in my face after I told her how I wanted my order and that I wanted to make sure it was freshly made and not cold when I pick it up. She goes on to saying I remember you and you need to pick it up on time, I begin to tell her ma'am you do not know who you are speaking with, she hung up the phone. I then called back to ask her what her name was she begin talking nasty with an attitude after I said I'm going to report her she says she don't care because its not cooperate it's a family business and hung up once again. I called for a forth time to ask her what her name was and where the manager is.... she stated that she was the manager and that her name was Anna. NOT PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE AND SOMETHING NEED TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS BECAUSE THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME SHE HAS DONE...
