Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I’ve ordered from them multiple times as their pizza is really good, but after my most recent experience I will not order from them again.

I made an order for delivery online and somehow it got mixed up and changed to pickup. This specific instance I am very sick and cannot go out to get it but I paid for the food so I still want it.

6:18 pm I called to get it changed to delivery, was put on hold, then they hung up on me.

6:20 pm 2nd time I called they said they changed it to delivery successfully for me. 1 hour passes and still no pizza delivered.

7:18 pm 3rd time I called because my food has not been delivered and they say it still says for pickup. I ask once again to have it changed. They say it’s changed and they have someone just about to leave to deliver it.

8:18 pm 4 time I called because IT HAS STILL NOT BEEN DELIVERED. They say the order says “pickup.” I tell them I have had to call them FOUR times. At this point I am extremely upset because I am already not feeling well and this location cannot do even the simplest of things to change an order that’s been called about FOUR TIMES.

If you want their food, just make sure you can get it yourself. Their website needs some serious change to make it easier to cancel or change orders. Their staff also needs to be more diligent in keeping track of when orders are changed. I think I talked to about 5-6 different people in total tonight over the phone. Got there at 11:05am (says they open at 11am) the doors were locked still. Luckily one of the deliver guys were leaving out of the side door so I walked in when he walked out. Stood at the front counter for another 5 mins before someone came up to take my order. He was rushing me to take my order and didn’t tell me how much it was. I handed over a $20 and he asked me if he could give me $1 bills back. I asked how much it was and he said $7 and change. I obviously looked at him confused and he told me “you know there are a lot of homeless people outside!” I’m not sure what that had to do with me. I don’t need anyone to tell me how to spend my money. I waited 15 mins for my pizza slice to come out and the doors were still locked when I left. The pizza had a ton of grease in the bottom of the plate that it was soggy. I work next door so it is convenient for me and my coworkers to run over and grab a slice....

The pizza is good, but the service is abysmal.

Deliveries are estimated at 60 minutes, which seems ridiculous to begin with, but routinely take 90+ minutes. Given the high delivery fees and tip I started trying takeout but haven't had good experiences with that either.

Today I showed up 40 minutes after ordering. My pizza was supposed to be ready in 25 minutes. I get there and the lady at the counter says it isn't ready. I sit down to wait. After 10 minutes a woman comes in and places a new order. She is told it will take 10 minutes to get her pizza. Having been there 10 minutes after ordering ahead (now 50 minutes ago) I inquire about the status of my order. The other man in front checks the to-go orders and immediately finds my order.
