If I could give this place zero stars I would. I felt like crying when I got back to work after opening up my meal and seeing what was there. You ever been so mad that rage just filled up your heart but you know you're at work and can't flip over any tables because you'll get fired so you just sit there and cry/die inside because you were so hungry and you just clocked in and can't leave? That's exactly how I felt. My lunch break was at 1:30am and I drove to this McDonald's. I was starving but I don't eat beef so I got a 6piece chicken nugget mighty kids meal with double fries and a small sprite to settle my tummy. The girl at the first window "the money window" was really nice and complimented me on my red hair and told me to have a blessed day. The second window where they hand you your food-the girl was really quiet, I was definitely Simi okay with that, being that it's fairly late but also not that okay because I've worked at McDonald's on 3rd shift in my town and my managers didn't tolerate that sort of behavior. She handed me my kids meal and my drink and I asked for some sweet and sour sauce. She gave me the sauce and I opened up the box and quickly threw them in it, closed it, said thank you/bye and went to work. When I got to work and I opened up that box I removed the sauce and the napkins. That's when I saw the greasy, soggy, cold, stale fries. My heart dropped. (I already had trust issues with this McDonald's because a week ago I had bought a strawberry creams pie and I had started eating it and when I got towards the end I completely removed it from the box and saw an eyelash. I felt like throwing up. So I was hoping this little chance would be different. ) Not only were the fries horrible-they put four cold, stale chicken nuggets in a 6 piece chicken nugget box! I could've screamed at the top of my lungs! So I called McDonald's instead, they answered the phone with an adittude (like they were expecting me to call because they know the horrors that they're doing) I told them about my experience and that I would like a replacement kids meal, she laughed and asked me if I could come back. I told here I was at work and wouldn't be getting off until the morning, she laughed again and said that's breakfast time. I was livid at this point. I told her that I know that and that I'm coming back on lunch at the same time the next day to pick up the replacement with my receipt and that they need to make a note of it. She even had the nerve to suggest me coming to McDonald's mid day the next day. I shut that down very quickly because I don't live in Antioch I only work there and that would be an inconvenience to me for their mistake. Long story short this McDonald's half *sses during the late night hours and is unacceptable because I am a paying customer and would like the correct number of fresh nuggets with fresh fries. The only good thing about the visit was the minion toy that came in the...
Read moreI visited the McDonald’s on Hickory Hollow Lane in Antioch, TN on August 5th and was greatly disappointed by the service I received. My encounter at the drive-thru was far from the usual seamless process. I was hoping to use a reward from my McDonald’s app, but to my surprise This experience has left me considering whether or not to continue using the McDonald’s app. A clunky interface combined with poor customer service makes for a very unappetizing combo. I expected more from the world’s largest restaurant chain. This visit was a true letdown., I was informed rather rudely that rewards only work if the code is provided during the initial order process at the drive-up speaker. This was news to me, and it was delivered with a level of impatience that felt distinctly unprofessional.
The individual at the payment window seemed more interested in rushing me through than in assisting me with my situation, adding an unwelcome layer of stress to my visit. When I explained I wasn’t asked for the code at the order point, his impatience only escalated. I ended up paying with my debit card, adding unnecessary inconvenience to my visit.
What baffles me is how a chain as large and successful as McDonald’s could have such a clumsy rewards and payment process in their app. Other chains such as Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks manage these features effortlessly, never requiring codes at the point of order. I believe McDonald’s could learn a lot from these establishments.
The service I received raises serious questions about the staff’s customer service skills. The individual I interacted with showed a clear lack of understanding of the importance of politeness and patience in the service industry. I hope management takes the necessary steps to address this issue.

Read moreOf the Nashville area McDonald's, this one frequently gets orders incorrect. I can't speak to orders placed and picked up inside, but orders placed at the drive through are frequently incorrect.
These errors, in my experience, are at least one or more of these three problems - incorrect condiments on burgers, missing napkins or dipping sauce, or less than fresh/hot items like fries or sandwiches.
There's a huge rollover in employees, which may account for many of the problems with this store, as their new staff are still getting the hang of the job. The Mcguire Group own and operate this and most of the Nashville area McDonald's franchises. And though this isn't one of the largest McDonald's they own, nor is it near the corporate office, you'll often see the owners at this location. Yet it's rare to see them at other stores in the franchise. Obviously, this store is problematic and requiring such owner day to day involvement.
On multiple occasions I've had to call the franchise main office to address a problematic issue. They've always taken these complaints and my observations seriously and seem committed to providing excellent customer service. Sadly, there's a compounding of issues at this McDonald's location that corporate just can't seem to overcome and resolve.
This location doesn't have a playground, but does have two express drive-thru lanes, which means you'll easily get your order quickly and without idling in the drive thru lane. A store window decal starts that Uber Eats is available from this location, though the Uber app doesn't support this area of Nashville yet.
CHECK YOUR ORDER/BAG BEFORE PULLING AWAY FROM THE PICKUP WINDOW! Failing to do so, you are at higher risk than usual in getting on the road or home, only to discover an error with order!
Hopefully the Mcguire Group owners and managers can fix these habitual and long standing problems. Until then, I'd recommend visiting one of the many Mcguire Group McDonald's, to experience what you've grown to expect from...
