Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

We went to the restaurant on one of the coldest nights thusfar and only decided to go inside because the drive-thru line was significantly longer. We ordered and while my guy paid, I walked around the dining area as I wrapped up a phone conversation. By the time I made it back to the counter, we had been provided with cups to get drinks. Continuing my walk, I make it to the drink dispenser & there was some type of garbled jargon on the screen. The manager comes from the kitchen area & asks that I wait while he fixes it..., of course..., no problem. The REAL problem was as I making my 3rd lap around the dining area, a MOUSE ran out (& immediately turned back) from the last round corner booth! Being that I'm petrified of mice, I almost lost my ish! I anxiously told my boyfriend, got the keys, and left the restaurant to wait in the car. Our order, of course, had been placed, paid for, and was ready shortly thereafter. My guy brought it out with him; however, I refused to eat it. After arriving home & calming down, I called the store manager; who at first had to be convinced that I was in the restaurant at all. I reminded him of our conversation at the drink dispenser. I then told him about the mouse and he assured me that even if I did in fact see one, the restaurant was clean. 😳 He also mentioned because of the nearby construction, coupled with the cold weather, they're just looking for somewhere to go. 😳 In disbelief of what I was hearing, I repeated to him what he said to me in hopes that it would sound just as crazy to him, from a customers perspective. He agreed and offered a full refund upon returning to the restaurant...

Food is ok, but nothing to rave about. Makes it even worse that the service is so blatantly poor at this location. The drive through line is always wrapped around the building. After placing your order & dealing with this a couple of times, you see it's because of incredibly slow employees. It takes just as long (or longer at times which is ridiculous) to go in and order. You don't expect to wait 20 plus minutes EVERY TIME at a fast food spot. I'm not sure if it's due to them being poorly trained, new constantly due to high turnover or plain ole incompetence. However it IS pretty apparent that they aren't held to any standards when it comes to friendly fast service. I'd definitely go more often if it was a better experience but KFC is closer & they're building yet another Zaxby's closer to me anyway. I refuse to spend any more money while consistently being treated poorly at this one. I recommended this restaurant one day to a friend who'd never been & this location makes the whole chain look TERRIBLE. I felt bad for even suggesting it after all was said & done & apologized for all of the headache that dinner ended up being because of this terribly run place!! The owners should be ashamed to even keep taking people's money here. But, the employees bad attitudes & awful customer service is a good indicator that taking people's money is actually their ONLY concern. It's obviously not to provide an actual decent eatery (that makes customers want to revisit) to the area. Oh well, they won't be getting any...

Sooo I just left this location around 645 trying to order a cup of ice...a large cup of ice. As I was proceeding to the window to pay I hear the person say $2.50...and I say person because over the speaker I couldn't tell if it was a male or female. So...as I'm approaching the window I see a young black female in the window and a light skin boy wearing a red shirt...thinking to myself ok he gotta be a manger...walk over to her and say something to her to make her step away from the window so he could take over. When I get to the window I asked him did he just say $2.50 for some ice...he says very sarcastically " oh I thought you wanted a large cup...I said I do but do yall really charge $2.50 a cup of ice? Him still being sarcastic, picks up a kids size cup and tells me, you can have this one...pointing at the cup...for free. Me puzzled...should I cuss him out now for trying to be messy or just pull off? God has showered me with sooo many blessings today I figured the devil would show up soon...lol...not today!!! So on to Sonic I went and got a extra large cup of ice for $0.66...look at God!!! I wonder do Zaxbys corporate office agree with their customer's paying $2.50 for...
