I am waking up this morning Still bitter from an awful experience once again i had at Kasra on nasa rd 1. This manager owner or whoever he is, is damaging this business as each day goes by. His ugliness towards customers plus the degrading way he treats his employees not to mention the food is a hit or miss. At times the food has instantly given me the runs and I have always wondered why until now. Ex- employee skinny tall Salvadoran lady told me that the same bus tubs that are used to clean tables are the same bus tubs they use to prep food!!! Have yall ever heard of cross contamination?? This is totally sick! I have personally talked to Marty and Adam Parsa aswell as Ali who all claim there is something being done to remove this man from the restaurant. But nothing has been done yet.
We must now blame the people (Marty, Adam, and Ali) who are responsible for putting this man in charge of running this restaurant.
WHY ARE YALL LETTING THIS MAN TARNISH YOUR FAMILIES LEGACY???
WHATEVER HAPPENED TO HONOR OR PRIDE???
P.S- I have been an customer of Kasra since 2001. Word around is that they are trying to expand. I have been to the new Rice Village location. Food was good but not a consistent taste compared to Westhimer location or Nasa. So now yall guys are so far behind yall now have 3 locations with 3 different taste of food. For example I can't go to nasa location and get the same kubideh as I would get at Westhimer. Rice , meat, and taste is all different. NO CONSISTENCY!!!
YALL GUYS NEED TO HIRE A RESTAURANT CONSULTANT AND GET THAT CRAZY MAN OUT OF NASA...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I went to this restaurant, hoping for authentic Persian cuisine. The sever sat us down and never returned. It looked like a busy day so we asked one of the servers whether we should order our food at the front of the checkout. She could not speak English very well, she shrugged her shoulders and continued serving other people. I then sat down with my girlfriend and waited a few more minutes. However after countless severs passing us by we didn't feel as though any of them actually were going to serve us. I then went to the manager who was at the checkout. He was an older man probably in his early 60s and didn't smile at all. Before I could speak he already knew what I wanted. He said "Server, you want server? ok just sit down, just wait" and then he proceeded to shoo me away like I was some type of fly. It was so embarrassing. My girlfriend and I were the only people there who were black but the others there were mainly people of middle eastern decent. I wanted to argue with the manager about the lack of service after waiting with no indication or idea of when we would be served. I sat down and told my girlfriend we should leave. She was just as ready to leave as I was and we stormed out the door. From this visit alone don't come here to dine. The service was so bad. I feel like it reflects poorly on the culture here as I have many Persian friends and they are some of the most well mannered people I know. The Kasras near Houston metro area is better. This one is just full of...
Read moreUpdate on 5/13: Management in this place don't treat customers well. We used to love this restaurant for their hummus and delicious chicken. The wait staff are always very nice and sweet. Well, today I went by myself for lunch and decided that I just wanted some hummus- I love their hummus! They usually greet you with complimentary naan bread and a plate with 3 tiny squares of feta cheese, and some radishes/herbs I've never cared for. After I ate my hummus and got the check, I noticed that I was charged $3 for chees (spelled this way). I asked the waitress and she said that the manager would explain it to me. He came in and, in a very dismissive tone, said that because I did not order an entree I had to pay $3 for the cheese. So I told him that I didn't order them and didn't know I had to pay for them. He then said condescendingly "Now you know, if you don't order an entree next time you'll have to pay for the cheese."
Well, there won't be a next time for us. We will not be coming here anymore. I didn't like the way he talked to me, he treated me as if I was an opportunist. I just wanted some hummus...
Their hummus is creamy and delicious and their naan bread is crispy and awesome. It's one of the best hummus I've eaten. Their chicken barg is juicy and moist and paired with basmati rice you get a wonderful meal....
