Mom Alone Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Webster

This place came recommended multiple times from multiple people. Therefore, I was excited to finally having time to go. It's an old fashioned restaurant. You will not get the hip and instagram type of pictures some places offer. However, their service was out of this world. We were warmly welcomed by an elderly lady and an elderly an up to beat hispanic gentlemen. We were promptly seated in their right side of the restuarant and we had a quiet and relaxing time. Our server, was also extremely nice and making sure we had everything we needed. I have never had service like this before. Made us feel like their VIP table! Now their food: I was a little let down, I felt the cheese wasnt as good as other places. It didnt allow us to savor the nachos we ordered. However, the fajita meat we had with the nachos was SOO soft and delicious. We ordered a fajita platter with chicken and fajita beef and again their cut of meat and the way it was prepared was soft, Not chewey or rough, just perfect! The drink I had was strong. Got me buzzed. But beware, I think if I had gotten two, my boyfriend would have to have carried me out! May risk it all and get 2 next time for the laugh...

Horrible! My husband has been trying to get me to eat here for over 5 years, and I kept refusing simply for how it looks both from inside and outside. He claimed that many years ago the food was delicious. Well, today, I changed my mind and agreed to order some, but eat at home (there is still no way I’m eating inside). I also thoroughly read the most recent reviewed and everybody seems to really enjoy the food.

We’ll let me tell you, something is wrong with everybody’s taste because food at this place has no flavor! Not at all! We got beef and chicken enchiladas. Neither beef nor chicken was seasoned, rice is mushy and has carrots and peas in it, out of three enchiladas only one and a half was covered in sauce and barely any cheese. I guess refied beans were just as any refried beans - nothing to brag about, but nothing to complain. I also hated the free salsa - again, barely any flavor, very watery.

I hated the meal so much I only took few bites and couldn’t force myself to finish.

We had spent the day at Nasa and we're starving. I walked in and said... I have 5 children, 5 adults and 2 service dogs. Can you accommodate us? They were absolutely receptive and expressed their enjoyment that we chose them and said we were more than welcome. As I went to the cars to collect the crew, they set up a huge table in one of the back rooms where we were able to stretch out and not feel crowded or like our presence would bother other people.

The menu is outstanding and overs every option you could possibly want. The prices are great! You get SO MUCH FOOD FOR YOUR MONEY! The kids ate everything on their plates, which is rare and only is an even bigger testament to how great this place is.
