Sweet Fruit Delights — Restaurant in Natchitoches

This business deserves a “Big Zero” instead of one star. Owner didn’t greet us. We greeted her. She was on her cell phone and didn’t seem to be interested in serving us. She was the only person in the store. The smoothie was not good and she served it in a paper Starbucks Cup instead of a styrofoam cup and this type of cup does not retain cold items. I asked for a straw with a cover and she said they only carried loose straws. She had placed her hand on the straw and I did want to put it in my mouth. In addition, I did not see her wash her hand before preparing my smoothie. She did something unbelievable. I have never seen anyone do at a business. She followed me outside after I left the store. As we were leaving I told my daughter about the owner not washing her hands. When the owner followed me outside she told me she wore gloves. However, there was red juice on her hand which indicated she did not wear any gloves. In addition, she told me I didn’t have to get the smoothie since I preferred a covered straw and other customers didn’t mind the loose straw. I now understand why no customers were in this business. With the way, she spoke to me I don’t see how she stays...

I went in to retrieve my order and gave my name to the lady at the front desk. When she went to look for the order she said they didn't have an order under that name. So, I called a friend who placed the order to confirm that it was in my name. I told the lady at the front that "Yes ma'am, that is the name that it should be under." She went back to look again and low and behold the order was there. As I was paying the lady whispered to a coworker that "...that wasn't the name she gave me early, she's lying about it now so she doesn't look stupid...". Sure the product is good but her attitude will leave a bad taste...

My friend Dain and I came down just to get away from Alexandria, we both were off work and had a beautiful time in Natchitoches. We decided to get some ice cream and something to drink (coke’s). The staff was wonderful and friendly. I definitely will be supporting her business. With the Covid and everything else. This is the time to help someone else come up in life. Please support this business. She have to beautiful daughters, 9 and 10 year of age and one on the way. The owner is having another beautiful daughter. Congratulations mom!!!
