Home Coffee in National City is a decent spot with a somewhat odd location. It’s tucked away in the furthest back corner of the shopping center, between Texas Roadhouse, LA Fitness, and a church. Despite being a bit hidden, it was surprisingly busy—I got the sense that a lot of people stop by before or after their workouts. The space itself is bright and clean, with plenty of natural light. The patio is a nice touch, featuring lounge seating and cute swings, making it a comfortable place to hang out or study. The staff was friendly, and the drink menu was creative, with options like a charcoal latte made with coconut oil and cocoa, which was a unique touch. Overall, it’s not an amazing spot, but I’m happy there’s a cool coffee shop in the area. The ample parking is a plus, and if you're nearby, it’s worth checking out.

Was curious about this place. Super clean, chill vibe with a cool outdoors area. Dave the barista was super nice and friendly. My only concern was that the coffee wouldn’t taste good, as it often happens with ā€œpretty and chicā€ coffee shops. I am happy to report that the coffee tasted great and I am EXTREMELY satisfied. This is now my go-to coffee shop. They were brave enough to open up during a pandemic and deliver good quality, that’s commendable and they have my support!

This hidden hidden coffee shop is located in national city located in the same parking lot as dennys, l&l Hawaiian, and good heart church(directly next to the church, to the left).Coffee was good. clean, extremely roomy and calming vibe. Inside seating available. Great customer service. We tried the Tahitian iced vanilla latte (powder flavoring) and iced caramel latte both good. A large comes with 3 shots. Will stop in again

I was getting a coffee at this place probably about 5-6times and every single time I just had a really bad experience. I only kept coming because this place is at the great location and I was hoping I just got ā€œhaving a bad day baristaā€. When I ordered hot coffees it’s almost always spilled all around the cup( keep in mind I always tip) lattes feel burnt all the time but maybe it’s a signature flavor for the shop, who knows. My husband said he went there once and his order got messed up so he doesn’t want to come back. Today I had to study so i wanted to give this place the last chance because it’s right next to my gym so I can do both without driving. I did not order latte at this time because I don’t like it I got matcha tee late. It was alright. Regular premix drink. I also got croissant. Well they told me they can’t warm up food so it was bluh i think it was a Costco croissant. They did not have any outlets inside of the shop but they did have some outside. However, none of them was working. We asked a multiple times to fix it and they said yeah yeah just wait a minute and it was never fixed or commented. All I wanted was to study in a cute place so I can go to the gym right after. So I just waisted my time and money on not tasty stuff and did not get to study. But surprisingly this place is always busy. Like what is all about? I guess people really like great atmosphere there. I would suggest to the manager of this place to put some effort and educate your stuff how to do a better customer service. It’s not always...

I got the Home Sweet Home and it was great! Came out very quickly. Excited to try the other items on their menu.

This place lost stars for three reasons. First, because their seats could be a little more comfortable especially for a place called home haha. I was wearing shorts and the seat left marks on the back of my legs. Maybe add a cushion? Second, if you want to do work or study here, sit near an outlet; they are very limited. I would recommend for Home Coffee to get some power cords along the wall to charge devices. Lastly, the paper towel dispenser in the restroom wasn’t working. It’s a shame because the drink was really good, and I wanted this to be my go-to cafe. Maybe it will just be my to-go...
