Taco Bell — Restaurant in National City

On Sunday, October 1st, I ordered 2 regular tacos and one chicken enchilada burrito (w/out rice). When I picked up the burrito, it flopped over as though it was just a folded up tortilla.

I opened the burrito to find that it only contained sauce, sour cream, a bit of cheese and 3 tiny chunks of chicken. It was essentially empty.

When I took the burrito up to the counter to show the "supervisor", she simply took it from me, walked away and return to the back. I received no verbal response from her at all. After a minute I called out "So..... are you remaking it or giving me a refund or....?". No response.

I returned to my table to eat my tacos (which were getting cold at that point) and a few minutes later the supervisor called out to me from the counter and pointed to a burrito on a tray. I went to the counter and asked if there was rice in the burrito and advised my order was for no rice. She responded that there was rice and that she had no way of knowing that I didn't want rice. I told her that she had simply taken the previous burrito from me and walked away. She didn't say a word and did not respond when I asked if she was making another burrito or getting me a refund.

I told her that had she said she would remake my burrito I would have told her no rice but since she did not communicate what she intended to do, I had no idea that I needed to communicate my order.

At this point, the rest of my party was finished with their meal so I asked for a refund and the supervisor told one of the other workers to give me a refund. The young lady was unable to open the register (which she did not communicate to me - I figured it out) and asked the supervisor for keys. The supervisor pointed her to an office but the young lady came out and said she couldn't find them.

At this point, I advised the young lady that I wanted to finish my last taco before it was completely cold, pointed out where I was sitting and asked her to call out to me when my refund was ready (my table was near the counter). She agreed and I went to finish my food.

I finished my taco and we waited another five minutes and I still had not heard anything. My party was tired of waiting so I returned to the counter and asked how much longer I was expected to wait for $2.71. The young lady said "I forgot" and then we had to wait for her to find keys to get my refund...... AGAIN!

I realize Taco Bell isn't some four-star restaurant and I understand human error, but the rude behavior, complete lack of communication and expecting a customer whom you have wronged to wait 15 additional minutes while their food is getting cold demonstrates the worst possible description of customer service.

I will never return to...

Today they get 2 stars. This is my first time rating and reviewing taco bell. But due to one person "Patty" im here. Yes its fast but the service i received after my order was incorrect from her was jaw dropping horrible. I asked for plain tacos but i was give regular tacos with everything in it. I approached the counter to tell her and with an attutude she said to me, did you ask for plain? Did you order plain? Where is your receipt? Does your receipt say it? It was interrogation #101...after i see the receipt i noticed it does?not say plain, i told her then she replies well i cant redo them you did not ask for that. She told the guy at the register that i was complaining about my tacos but that i did not order right and she walked back to prep orders...i was so mad😠 then i stood at the register to order 3 new plain tacos and while i was inline she came and not gently but rudley tossed 3 tacos and said nothing!!!! I ordered my 3 tacos for my daughter asked for them plain and paid. The rude food prepper patty came and got my 3 tacos from the counter and opened all 3 of them to clean them out and remake the 3 tacos i ORDERED AND PAID FOR out of the tacos she tossed and left on the counter. WHEN I CALLED TO HER SAYING "I HOPE YOUR NOT MAKING ME 3 TACOS OUT OF THOSE ONES YOUR CLEANING OUT FOR ME TO EAT WHICH I PAID FOR...She got mad crumbled everything and tossed in the trash with a rude nasty attitude. The lady next to her(co-worker) asked me how i wanted my tacos and she made them. Patty however brought the back up and never ever said anything left the bag on the counter and the other lady working with her said theres your order "thank you"! I have never had an issue if my order is incorrect they replace it or fix it. If somethings not right without hesitation they help. Its rare that i have a wrong order but when i have its never been an issue or an interrogatio. So mad enough to come here to write about this service i received after coming here after school with my daughter and for over 21 years. If your not happy here dont work here, if you dont have patience or great customer service maybe your in the wrong job. Courtesy with courtesy it...

This Taco Bell sucks when you come to order food inside they'll ignored You😡😡😡 and then they try to tell you go order at the kiosk. I refuse, so she said wait, let me take the next car. She didn't took the next car. She took the whole line then waited into I was done ordering and came and took another customer very unprofessional. And I took it very racist. She needs to be fired Or put Her back on stock.😡😡😡😡 Then I called the manager and they told me he cannot come. He's busy so I waited. He came after 5 minutes. Explain to him what had happened, he said. Oh, 🤷‍♂️ shoulders and walked away. What kind of manager is he? He needs to be fired as well. This whole restaurant needs to be trained again. All of them are very rode & racist.😡😤😡😤😡😤😡😤😡😤😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😡😡😡😠😠😡😠😡

Now, when you come to drive through, they make you go around and wait. They don't pull out orders under 2 minutes. That's why they have you wait around the building....... Why have a tribe through if it's not gonna be considered? Drive through more like drive through and wait...
