My review requires some extra details to explain fully. I remember details very well for those wondering how I remember the times.
2006/2007 Years ago I worked at this McDonald's during my high school years. Around the switch from breakfast to lunch they start around 10:15 to prep for lunch. This allowed for customers, who knew this, to be allowed to order lunch 15 minutes before breakfast officially ended. I was a cashier almost all the time so I knew how this worked very well. People who ordered even around 10:10 am would get their lunch within minutes. Not 10:30.
I remember I refused to let someone order lunch because it wasn't even 10am. Closer to 9:55am. Of course they demanded to speak with the manager. To my shock this person got lunch at 10:05am.
2023 10:15am So I decided to test this out for myself. I even explained that I spent 2 years working here specifically as a cashier and knew when things prepped for lunch.
I was told a very very very VERY stern NO by the drive thru person, who seemed like they were already having a bad day or just grumpy. They said,... "if I wanted lunch then I would have to wait 15 minutes until 10:30."
While I sat waiting in the hold stall for 10:30 to roll around, I walked inside just to see if either of the two people I used to work with were around. Couldn't see them. But what I did see at 10:20am was lunch prep going into their tray slots.
So Tonya if your reading this, what the heck? I was always told by you and other managers to allow lunch orders at 10:15. The folks would get their food immediately. Not wait until 1030.
Yet here I am. 10:28....
Read moreBeen going to this McDonald's for years without any issues, but now I won't be going back ever again after my HORRIBLE experience today. I did curbside and accidentally entered the wrong spot number. When the person brought me my food they rudley lectured me about making sure I enter the right spot number and threatened to not give me my food in the future if I enter the wrong number again. This was incredibly disrespectful and unecessary!! I've done curbside probably over 50 times here and have had the wrong food brought TO ME and been told 'nobody pays attention to the spot number' - then they brought me my food and there was no problem. And now, the one time today I make a mistake and enter the wrong number I get talked down to and lectured?! This was the WORST service I've ever had in my life. The worker that did this needs more customer service training or should be fired. I understand there is a worker shortage, but this was unacceptable. I hope this review advises others of the kinds of people this McDonald's location hires - and you to go to other McDonald's in the area with kind and pleasant workers - such as the Menasha location or the one off of...
Read moreI typically avoid leaving negative reviews, but today's experience at the McDonald’s in Neenah was disappointing and frustrating. I decided to stop by to pick up lunch for my husband, along with a chocolate milkshake as a little Halloween treat. However, when I arrived at the window to pick up my order, I was given a vanilla milkshake instead of the chocolate one I had ordered.
When I pointed this out to the employee, she mentioned that it did contain some chocolate and speculated that the machine might be low on the mix. I requested a replacement, and she kindly agreed, asking me to pull forward to wait for a new shake and the rest of my order. After a considerable wait, a different employee brought out my food, but the milkshake still appeared to be vanilla, with no clear indication of chocolate flavoring. Given the delay, I chose to accept it, but I felt quite frustrated by the lack of quality control.
I’ve attached a photo of the shake for reference. If you're visiting the Neenah, WI McDonald's and looking forward to a milkshake, you may want to reconsider, as this location seems to have an issue with ensuring consistency in...
