Bay Point Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Neenah

I got there between Friday noon rush & dinner rush,at about1:30pm This bar/Grill is one of the great up north family owned small tavern,every body knows everyone, bar rail a few tables ,a couple of chance video machines ,the grill and fryer is right behind the bar, nothing to hide.small menu, I hope they are on the Wisconsin fish fry list of places to try.. Bergers,also a dish they call the monster - 1/2 lb + 1/4 lb beef pattys + a brat .....would like to try it next time oh my......some pizza and a great fish fry Friday small=1 piece - medium =2 pieces large= 3 pieces and alternate shrimp, scallops,and and a mix 3 item plate , Thursday is ribs.....want to try that next time oh my... I had ; onion rings.....mmmmm good, and the medium cod dinner came with Cole slaw , great potato boiled egg salad,oh my loved it, and a slice of marble swirl rye bread + butter.... I don't drink alcohol so I had lemonaid but they were one glass not bottomless,so I had mountain dew witch was bottomless.... The bill was $37.66 for myself. No handycap parking or special door automatic opening, but hey it's a small saloone, the hospitality and food makes up for it... some parents may or may not bring small children unless they are hungry ....but up north family invirment..... Was never waiting for service, love it. Did not get the name of the cook/ bartender, or his mother owners,but love the down home feeling..... Might just make this my go to tavern... 5/5 or 9/10 * for the not having handycap , but I'm not holding it against them.... So much good food to try..... I'm definitely coming...

Everything about this place is excellent. They smoke their own ribs, wings and chicken and they're the best. Each one is a special one day of the week. First thing when you walk in, the owner or bartender greets you with a smile and asks how you're doing. The service is excellent. Just went for Friday fish tonight for first time. I had hadock and wife had perch. Both were great. Watched the owner make homemade potato salad which is also very good. They just do everything right. Love seeing small local places offering such good food and service at a reasonable price. Keep up...

Every Wednesday they have cheap wings. However, they also host a group of guys playing poker that day. Every week. The poker players bully you into moving tables (not just my party but, everyone else dining) and glare at you until you finish eating and leave. They make you feel unwelcome from the moment you walk in. I've tried eating here multiple times on Wednesday and the same people make the dining experience uncomfortable. The staff does nothing to resolve this. The food is fine, but I won't go...
