First time experience with Sammy's pizza, we were excited to try it, and after reading all the great reviews, it was a massive disappointment on the service we were given. We got one large pineapple and Canadian bacon and one medium cheese pizza. Spent almost $40. It was not worth what I paid for at all, I've had better pizza and I can make better pizza. I ordered the pizza at 4:30, got told delivery was going to be about an hour. I called at 5:45 to see where the pizza was, the lady that answered the phone was very rude and gave me attitude immediately. The pizza didn't show up until almost 6:30. I literally live 0.2 miles away from Sammy's, the time was absolutely ridiculous since I live so close! The pizza was smaller than I expected for being so expensive, extremely greasy, they were barely warm, the pineapple on the one was cold, and the crust was burnt in many spots on both pizzas. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, we will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone. Domino's tastes much better and is cheaper. I was not impressed, I would give no...
Read moreOrdered a large pepperoni and extra cheese pizza with a side of garlic bread from Sammy's we were told about an hour for delivery which was fine I believe it came in under an hour. I love pizza and have had it in many cities and states and Sammy's is another in a long line of family pizza places I have tried. It was very good as was the garlic bread there was plenty of cheese and Pepperoni on the pie and the crust was excellent. I have one complaint I don't think they have a warming oven in there delivery vehicle as both the pizza and garlic bread were a bit cool now I'm not going to deduct anything from the pizza or Sammy's as there are many places just like them who sometimes don't have them in there delivery vehicles and having learned that over the years I had the oven on to warm the pie and bread back up. So no harm no foul I only mention it so that folks can be be aware and get there pizza back up to temperature. No insult intended...
Read moreI've lived in the area my whole life and I can't believe I've never tried any of its locations over that span.
My fiancée and I finally visited the Neenah location and had a great time! Our server was great despite having quite a few tables, and the food was great!
We started with the 4-piece cheese bread, which was tasty and substantial - a great way to start our dinner.
Coming in with no expectations, good or bad, we were thrilled with our sausage and pepperoni pizza. Nice crispy crust, tasty sauce, plenty of cheese without being obnoxious, and the sausage, which we were told was made in-house - was amazing! Awesome flavor with a bunch of fennel seed and probably some garlic.
I honestly would have been impressed at any price, but for just under $30, this pizza was a steal. Highly...
