Absolutely the worst Taco Bell experience I have ever had. First, I walked in at 2 last Saturday afternoon and waited in line to place my order. I placed my order and receive my number to eat in. Soon there was no one on the counter. The manager, who explained that she had previously managed the Little Chute location, and it only been there a few weeks so that she could straighten the place out, started working at the register and her street clothes. She was explaining to a customer that had walked in, and who had waited at least 10 minutes and had not yet been asked if he wanted to place an order, that the place have been robbed twice in the past 2 weeks by, what they thought were, previous employees. She proceeded to explain how she was brought in to turn the place around and that they were in the process of firing and hiring all the employees, note that this conversation took place in front of other employees that were there in the store, and she talked as though they were also included in the firing portion. A gentleman walked in during that time, and stated that his entire order was wrong. That sour cream that was supposed to be on the side was included on the order that was made. The new manager walked through what she thought maybe could have been corrected, told the gentleman she'd replace his order. At no time did she apologize to that gentleman nor offer any type of an explanation or retribution for his inconvenience. As she continued to droll on about how much she hated this location, saying that she was told it would be a challenge but she didn't realize how challenging, I tossed my drink in the trash and walked out while waiting for my food. I just couldn't take it anymore. Again, worst Taco Bell...
Read moreI will NEVER eat here again. My husband and I went here tonight. The drive-thru was super busy so I figured it would be faster to go inside, but I WAS WRONG! We walked inside and could see roughly 6 people working. A gentleman working in the front of the kitchen near the cash registers didn't even acknowledge us standing in the front for 10 mintues, even though he looked up at us at least 6 times - he didnt even have the courtesy to say anything. FINALLY we ordered and then waited for 20 mintues. In that time 2 other people walked in; the first was a mother getting food for her family and she ordered then waited near us & the other was a family and they ended up leaving because nobody took their order after 15 mintues. While we had been waiting for nearly 25 minutes now the woman that had ordered for her family spoke up and asked a worker how long this was going to take. I chimed in and mentioned we had been waiting for our food even longer. The worker towards the front turned toward us and said he had just gotten there and this wasn't his problem. This was the first encounter of THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD! Then another worker comes up, the one that took our order, and was upset that we even asked how long it would take for our food; even though we had already been waiting 25 minutes. The woman then asked for a refund and so did we. We didn't get our refund because by this point the worker was freaking out at us for asking how long our food would take. On our way out we could still hear him grumbling about how he couldn't believe us. This is by far the WORST customer service I've ever recieved. These employees need to be trained on courtesy and respect. I recommend not going to...
Read moreAt 3:30pm today I stopped at this location. Upon entering the restaurant, I first used the horribly disgusting bathroom. Upon exiting, I stood in line and the customer in front of me starting yelling to inquire if anybody was working. The man running the drive-thru mumbled in a frustrated tone that he didn't know and that they might take our order but would probably close the dining room. The customer asked if it's quicker to just do drive-thru and he answered "Yes, probably." The other two customers there stated that they had some "not so pleasant words to say." We were told that they just can't find workers and people don't show up for shifts. When questioned if they try getting college students, the manager responded that "college students don't work." She then said she can't take our orders because she can't make food and take orders and then closed the register.
Honestly, I wouldn't work here either. It's clear that professionalism and consideration. Are non-existent. The image these staff members portrayed to me tell me this is no job to take seriously. The best thing this location (and any in the Appleton and Neenah-Menasha area) can do is just close it's doors and start over. You're systematically killing any hopes of maintaining business if you can't get a fresh start and new crew.
It's not a hard job. I can speak with confidence as I worked at and managed Taco Bells in my younger days - challenges like this were easily overcome. Since this is the second time the dining room has closed when I went there, I won't bother with this and all other locations ran under these owners. I didn't bother waiting for drive thru, I can only imagine how poor the food quality...
