‼️‼️‼️‼️ FIRST TIME HERE, 10/5/24 ‼️‼️‼️‼️ LAST TIME HERE ‼️‼️‼️‼️ Upon entering, no issues. Seated immediately. Was given chips and salsa. Not my thing. Not the restaurant's fault.
Order was taken immediately. Drinks were made and served immediately.
‼️THE PROBLEMS......WAITED A TOTAL OF 40 MINUTES FOR VERY DRIED RICE AND BEEF TACOS 🤦♀️🥴 Ridiculous‼️ I was ready to get up. The male waiters were coming out with plates of food, asking other waiters who had what food 🤣🤦♀️ How embarrassing and unorganized‼️ We had so many waiters, that we didn't know who or what was going on. Everyone was running around with their heads cut off. You could feel and see the stress and anxiety in the workers.
Worst of all.....we asked for our bill. Our waiters PASSED US MULTIPLE TIMES before receiving the bill. YES WE HAD MULTIPLE PEOPLE WAITING ON OUR TABLE‼️ PATHETIC ‼️
The food was EXTREMELY SALTY‼️ No salt or pepper on the tables. No extra napkins were given when asked. Was told extra napkins would come but none were dropped off.
My beef taco was so soggy because it was drenched in tamale sauce 🤦♀️ I couldn't taste anything but the tamale sauce. My tamale was dried as heck! If it wasn't for the sauce, I would have not eaten anything‼️
FYI - your guests do watch your every move. Good business starts with word of mouth. Good business starts by providing exceptional services. YOU GUYS FAILED TO PROVIDE PHENOMENAL SERVICE. The shells were almost like they were microwaved. The dipping juice that should be robust in flavor was barely warm and so blah. It tasted like greasy water. There was no flavor at all in any of it. I only ate half of one. Plus, everywhere else I've been to, puts the cilantro and onions inside. Not in lil side cups. So disappointed. I did manage to choke down the tamales. The chicken was actually pretty good. But still super disappointed that the meat was not inside the tamale. The margaritas were ok, but seriously, who puts a margarita in a tall metal cup? Or a rocks glass? Super disappointed on that one too. But the drinks themselves were pretty good. Chips and salsa? Ok. Kinda on the stale side. But tolerable. And I have no clue what the white sauce they served with the chips was. But it was not appealing at all. Just horrible all around. My overall visit was a huge disappointment. Maybe other dishes may be better, but I will NEVER be going back to find out. I cannot suggest this establishment to anyone. To see 4.5 stars as a rating, bewilders me. But it is what it is. Read moreUnderwhelming in the simplest of reasonable expectations. Had such high hopes... came in and they did a great job with the decor. Praise ends there. Ordered a couple dishes to go. Got home and the food was not horrible...but just that cheap excuse for actual authentic Mexican food. Carne Asade was dry as can be... and no flavor. Just a couple slabs of flatiron with zero presentation. Just an Americanized fast foody kind of fare that I doubt the owners would eat themselves. But the best part is when I opened the tin foil to expose the "just out of the bag" flour tortillas. At that point I called the restaurant and the guy that answered...upon my expressing my dismay... said "I'm sorry we just microwave the flour tortillas". You can't make that up.
