Quench — Restaurant in Neenah

The ladies at work and I go to Quench on most days for lunch shakes and tea. The atmosphere and menu is totally great! They are welcoming and fun, but that’s not what sets them apart from most companies. What sets them apart is the type of customer service experienced there. I recently had a combo picked up by one of my coworkers for lunch and when it arrived it wasn’t what I thought I had ordered. I am Celiac and need my items to be gluten free. I called over to Quench and spoke with Conrad. He asked me what happened and was very helpful in ensuring the shake I got was in fact gluten free. He didn’t stop there though. He asked me what my intentions were for the shake I wanted and ensured that they would meet my intentions the next time. This morning when my coworker stopped for a breakfast combo, they sent her with a gift certificate for my next lunch combo. Today on 6/9 at 9:50 am. Will most definitely not be coming back. That was a horrific experience. The music is so loud we’re practically in a club, the two women in the back are SCREAMING while talking to one another. I asked the cashier politely if they could be quieter while we tried to look at the menu. The cashier barely says, “can you guys stop a minute.” Then the woman comes around and I said “I can’t concentrate when it’s this loud.” She acknowledges that she can’t concentrate when it is loud but then continues to SCREAM. I had to sit down while my friend finishes the order. The two women continue to scream and have no awareness of their surroundings. And then when our drinks are done, they don’t call our name, acknowledge us, have any form of customer service whatsoever. Very disappointing experience. We will not be returning. I’ve been coming here since they opened their doors. Often times, right after a good workout. One of the few clubs with the best hours in the valley! I moved about 45 mins north of Quench so I don’t make my way to Neenah as often but when I do, I make sure I stop in for my favorite shake, birthday cake as well as a tea! Some of my favorite memories of one of the employees writing a quote on my cup before I got it, and it made my day. Not only was it a simple act of kindness but it put me in such a good mood, knowing I needed to hear what she wrote, because, well, kids haha if you know, you know!
