Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Neenah

I'm sorry.. I don't usually leave such negative reviews. I understand restaurants have good days, and bad days, and stuff happens.

However, I've been to this Chipotle several times now, and each time has been a bigger disappointment than the last.

Every time we come here, most of the food service pans are nearly empty.. So empty you can see the bottom. This means hardly any meat, and the little bit of meat that is in each one, is dried out, and not even warm.

Today, they also barely had any fajita veggies. On a previous visit, I asked for Jalapenos, and it took three people, about 5 minutes, to locate them.

Also, today, my chicken was dry, cold, and burnt (which I'm not even sure how that happens). Most of the pieces of chicken had hard black edges which came off the pieces of chicken, and it was like chewing on a sharp pieces of plastic. My girlfriend said hers had ice chunks in it, although she couldn't ascertain exactly where the ice chunks were coming from.

Going through the line today, I asked for extra lettuce. Within a split second, I had a gigantic scoop of quacamole added to my burrito bowl (I didn't want quacamole), and I was being asked if I wanted any lettuce.

The staff has been super friendly -- so that is good. But, the overall management of the place leaves A LOT to be desired. I'll drive the 10 to 15 minutes and go to the Chipotle in Appleton.

My recommendation? Avoid! I'll visit again, in about 6 months, and...

Let me tell you guys loud and clear, do not go to this location. Appleton is much better more established and gives good portions and is fair. I’ve come here 3 times in the last week and a half and this by far has been the worst experience. My bowl looks like garbage there’s absolutely nothing inside they gave me the smallest portion and this has happened the two other times as well but I tried giving them a chance. There’s only 2 workers I see that actually care but the rest just put as minimal as humanly possible. I’ve been to so many chipotles around the country and my hometowns chipotle never do this either. Went mid day, they had like 8 pieces of fajita veggies. I ordered two bowls. Skimp on portions. PLEASE SERVE ME PORTIONS HOW YOU WOULD WANT YOUR FOOD. Big chunks of pieces of food in my bowl, this means careless poor prep work. Low grade chipotle here. Noticing a trend of small portions here in this area of the state. Quality ok. Service ok. The small portions NOT ok. Will think twice before coming back. Food cooked and handled low grade, i can taste/feel maybe some contamination but thats just speculation.
