Renna's Pizza — Restaurant in Neptune Beach

Took my daughter to dinner. She ordered from the kids menu. There were no problems with her food. I cannot say the same for mine, though.

I ordered the stuffed shells. A couple of hours or so after getting home, I became rather sick to my stomach. I highly suspected the stuffed shells were the culprit.

I called to notify the staff. I was told they had another customer who ordered the stuffed shells complain of the same thing. I was supposed to receive a call from the owner/manager. That call never came. I followed up at least three times with zero success.

This happened a few months ago. I drove by there the other day, which reminded of this issue. I had a similar issue with the stuffed shells at the Jax Beach location several years ago, but I did not get ill. They had a very bad smell. So, I returned them to the staff.

Renna's has been my favorite pizza for a long time. Unfortunately, I have not and will not return again. A simple phone call probably would have...

Now check this out. I’m gonna keep some details redacted because I don’t want them to get flooded with requests but listen to this. I’m a big fan of a style of pizza that’s not from around here. When I walked in to place my order I asked about this type of pizza during small talk and the guy behind the counter without hesitation said he’d try to make it.

Those boys worked some magic because I kid you not a handful of minutes later a pizza came out that was nearly perfect to what I was asking for. This is huge not just because they didn’t know about that kind of style of pizza before I walked through the door but especially because the type of oven they have being a limiting factor to that type of pizza.

I enjoy Rennas food but this was my first time at this atlantic beach location last night and the service was horrible! I don’t know if it was just a bad crew or what. We were the ONLY customers. We ordered and said it was to eat there. 35 minutes went by and still no food. We only order garlic knots and pizza! There was no reason for us to at least not get the knots. I kept looking at the cashier wondering if she was going to say anything and when my patience finally reached its limit I went up front to ask about our order and they said oh yeah here you go and handed us our food which was all boxed up.
