Days Ice Cream was EVEN BETTER than last season. As usual, there is a wide variety of available ice cream flavors, the choice of soft and hard ice creams, dozens of toppings both wet and dry, and sizes. Service is friendly and safe (staff is masked, customer masks are required, social distancing is facilitated), and separate staff serve and accept payment. So what made this season's experience better than last's? For me, there are two reasons. First, the product was just better executed. The hard ice cream and other ingredients' temperatures were so much colder that everything remained cold and refreshing from start to finish (despite the heat and sun on this day). Second, being able to enjoy Days Ice Cream during the global pandemic is a comforting nod to normalcy in an ever changing world. Thanks Days!

UPDATE MAY/JUNE 2022: Day's Ice Cream is continuing its COVID era protocols. The line moves FAST and the ice cream is consistently PERFECT! In the 5 days I've been here, we've visited 3 times. All the flavors have been excellent. Trips to Day's are one of the highlights of vacations to AP/OG. Keep up...

The BEST ice cream parlor in Ocean Grove! Small space to purchase, but a HUGE selection of flavors! The staff is attentive and efficient, the flavors are delicious and decadent, and the space for seating is charming and quaint.

PRO TIP: Snap a photo through the window of the available flavors. This way, you and your party can make up your mind(s) while you wait and it helps the staff keep things moving inside! 👍

Hard and soft serve flavors are available, as well as sorbet. Sundaes🍨 typically come with a sauce/topping, whipped cream, and a cherry🍒. (The brownie sundae features a warmed brownie that is fudgy with chocolate chips inside - bring your appetite for this one, as even a small is well-portioned.) A medium soft-serve cone is wound about 6-8 inches tall, so enjoy the extra before it melts! (Still sooooo good!)

It makes one wonder why anyone would even consider going to a sub-par apothecary (down for the count, as it is). This place has it all, with excellent service and ice cream for DAYS! Get here, get in line, and get ready to enjoy the ice...

• mint cookies - i used to be a mint ice cream hater because why do you want toothpaste and chocolate together? anyways, this just deepened my faith in this flavor. days makes it so perfectly balanced. also, cookies choco chip. • salted caramel pretzel - ahhh!!! love love loveeee. this is what i expect in caramel components. it isn’t sickly sweet and i loved the crunchy, salty pretzels. • cotton candy milkshake - tasted more like vanilla with the suggestion of cotton candy. my friend seemed to like it regardless.

notes standing ovation for my dearest since he decided we visit this place for desserts. he knows i have a massive sweet tooth and tend to gravitate towards cold treats. bless the workers for letting me try a bajillion flavors since i was unsure due to the incredible selections. overall, will visit again when i’m...

*Allergy friendly* *Fast service* *Clean* *Lots of seating and wonderful environment* *plenty of seating* Can't say enough about this place! This is a must visit on vacation every year! Our son has an anaphylactic food allergy (ingestion, not airborne) and the owners and servers were amazing at showing us the ingredients, having tons of patience while checking everything including the sprinkles (they keep "allergen free sprinkles" separate in the back!!) and whipped cream. They were also willing to get a clean scoop if needed. After we ordered, they kept my son's cup of ice cream separate until we were done paying! The line was out the door and down the street but it took us under 10 minutes to order and get our ice cream- they have a great system that works for fast service! Visit this place while on vacation!!

This is such a great little spot right next to The Starving Artist. I came here after my long beach day to get a nice ice cream cone and I was amazed on how many different flavors they have to choose from. I went with my OG which is just a scoop of chocolate and butter pecan on a cone and it tasted great. Plus, you get a lot for your monies worth. I really liked the ambiance as it was warm, vibrant and friendly. The prices here are extremely reasonable and they can accommodate people with certain dietary restrictions (i.e., non dairy, non dairy sorbet, low fat and sugar free). They also have sundaes, shakes, banana splits and brownie sundaes. So basically, they have a little something for everyone. In my opinion, this spot along with The Starving Artist are definitely worth checking out and I will be back!
