Applebee's Grill + Bar - South Rainbow Blvd — Restaurant in Nevada

I was with my Roommate expecting a seniors menu, hoping to get some Breakfast actually, we have been told they didnt have one. Ok, i ordered a french onion soup that tasted like canned soup. No croutons, no taste. I only ate the cheese left the rest there. I also was in the mood for onion rings but was told they were out of it! So, i ordered the pretzel cheese plate. Gross, sorry. The bread was weird, had some kind of dark breading on it, and i thought it was burnt!. This is something i wouldnt recommend to anyone. The pretzel wasnt like a normal pretzel you would expect. No, never again! Oh and my iced tea tasted old not fresh. Then on to my friends lunch, she ordered the Beef Nacho Plate and told the waitress no jalapenos please. She ordered a peach mango margarita that she said did not taste anything like fruit! It was obvious watching our waitress making it that she had to be told how to make one by the other waitress. When she told the waitress, she must have mentioned it to the other waitress on staff by the bar who saìd if my friend would like she can bring her some more mango and peach flavoring!!!!! What?? Friend said No, i just dont want it ill drink water. Waitress said she'll take it off the tab, which my soup was also taken off. As she ate her Beef Nachos, she kept coming across strips of Jalapenos which she said while ordering that she did not want Jalapenos! The waitress said it must be in the tomatoe topping put on the chips. Well, friend still ate what she could. You see, we were coming from Doctor appointments and both are Diabetic and needed food, good, tasty, enjoyable food, and we felt ripped off totally! We both said no more, wont be coming back again. No acknowledgment from our waitress, no sorry, can i correct anything!...

Horrible! Spring Valley location. Ordered the 2 can dine for myself and son. I Ordered my meal which was the chicken penna it WAS supposed to have come with a side of garlic bread...DIDN'T GET. Well with the Entrée you're suppose to receive one appetizer...I was told WE DON'T HAVE NO MOZZARELLA STICKS..Ok. Well I'll take the Spinach dip..fine. Ok So we wait about 15 minutes for the appetizers to come...THEY CAME ICE COLD!!..I had to asked the waiter to warm the food or give me FRESH food!...Not to mention I had to ask for Napkins 3 times!!🙄 So now the main dish comes out and ITS COLD!...Now we got a table of cold food with the Entrées and the meal and still no paper towels!!...I couldn't even eat the food just annoyed to the MAX!...I don't like causing a scene so I asked for "TO GO" BOXES. NOW it time to pay my bill and I noticed my BILL is NINE dollars more than it should be!!..I alert my waiter, He says.."Oh Yeah!..I meant to take that off!!...Now If the restaurant was busy I can tolerate a few mess up's, BUT there wasn't hardly anyone there!!...Seven tables had guest in the entire restaurant!...NOT one manager came over to address the issue, But went to the table behind and asked the older Caucasian couple was everything alright!@#%. I don't even think those people requested a manager. Terrible food and service and to top it off , I felt discriminated against. This is my neighborhood restaurant been here SEVERAL TIMES before NEVER HAD A ISSUE, But today was another story! 12/27/21. I came here tonight for the Veteran's Day Celebration Meal. I got the 6 ounce steak with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli and a 20 ounce Long Island Ice Tea. I honestly thought I did a review of this location years ago. Anyway , I have been here before and the service is usually pretty good and the food is more average of course. You can't expect gourmet at Applebee's , but they do make great drinks and they go well with appetizers , lunch , or dinner.

The service tonight was good and everyone was so nice. They even had someone dressed as a Bee handing out $5 Off Coupons for the Veterans to use when they come back for the next time. My Long Island Ice Tea was pretty good and nice and strong like it should be. The steak was as expected. It was cooked almost to where I wanted it , could have been on another 2 minutes , but it was fine. A lady came by with A1 and asked if I wanted it and I asked if they had Heinz 57 and they did and she brought it out right away. The mashed potatoes were fine and a good amount and the steamed broccoli was just right. I ate pretty much all of it. It was just the right amount to not have leftovers and to not be hungry either.

Of course tonight was pretty busy , but they seemed to be handling it well. Also when you came in they had a big poster board for the Veterans to sign and put where they were stationed at. I thought that was a nice touch. They also had little vases with flowers and an American Flag in it. Thank you for honoring us Veterans and I will be back again later for the Oriental...
