This is by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to in my 17 years on this earth, the atmosphere and music of the restaurant itself are very nice and it has gorgeous visuals for such a small restaurant. The staff and other customers there are incredibly friendly and polite even if they do make snarky remarks just to be funny sometimes which I enjoy, it just adds more to the atmosphere and don’t even get me started with the food! It was SOOO GOOD!! We ordered a pepperoni pizza the Caeser Salad, and Nonna’s spaghetti, and also our sides were bruschetta and Caprese, the lovely gentleman serving us and kitchen staff preparing our food. Also listen to our request since my sister has a milk intolerance and went out of their way to remake the sauce and all of our dishes for my sister just so that it didn’t have milk and that it was safe for her to eat. I wish I had gotten photos of our food before we needed to leave, but we all ate about half of what we had before. We got full and definitely took home our leftovers because they’re so good just for breakfast this morning I’m eating my spaghetti just because it was that enjoyable. The meatballs in their spaghetti are the best meatballs I have ever had and the pasta sauce wasn’t too thin or thick and had the perfect taste. When it came to our drinks, we ordered ice water, coffee, and raspberry tea. My grandma‘s ice water was ice water. It was as good as ice water can get. My sister’s coffee, after taking a small sip was the best coffee I have ever had. It was so smooth and so rich and flavor and didn’t taste like your normal coffee made in a coffee pot at home. I don’t even know how to describe it, but it was heavenly and the raspberry tea was a bit sweet compared to what I usually would get, but it was very flavorful and really good. I ended up having three glasses of that. I don’t even have any more words to describe how great this place is, but if you ever get the chance and you’re down in Pahrump and ever craving Italian come here, you will...
Read moreWOW. Just wow. Where do I even begin? The reviews here had me hopeful for a way different experience. I had to call 4 times to be able to place our to-go order. 2 orders of shrimp alfredo, spaghetti with meat sauce and a chicken parm. We were told 30-35 minutes. We waited about 25 minutes before heading over there to pick up our food. When I went inside, no one greeted me and I stood there for 5 minutes before the one waitress acknowledged me. She asked if I was picking up a to-go order, I said yes and gave the name it was under. She said it wasn't done yet, so I asked how much longer. She said "10 minutes, maybe?" When we arrived, there was 5 occupied tables and a guy waiting on grubhub/doordash. A older couple came in and stood at the door for 2-3 minutes and when they went ignored, they left. I learned while standing there the waitress is the only person who answers the cell phone that operates as the restaurants phone, unless she can't answer someone from the kitchen goes over and answers and mutes the call. The waitress gave me the bill, it was $81.78, I gave her a $100. She proceeds to pull cash from a bag, not a register and give me $18. Ok, not a big deal to not get my $0.22 back, but how many other people don't get their change and it's more than $0.22? That's not a very good way to do business in my eyes. 15 minutes later I'm still waiting for my food and I happen to look in the kitchen and see someone's dinner sitting with a bunch of dirty dishes (see picture). After almost waiting 25 minutes we finally get our food and head home. We get home and eat and food was decent, except the chicken. It was rock hard and dried out like it had been reheated numerous times a steak knife struggled to cleven cut it. And the icing on the cake - that was one of my meals sitting among all those dirty dishes.
I can't imagine ever getting food from there again when we are in town, let alone my family who lives here won't order from...
Read moreWe really enjoyed it! We had the calamari rings as an app, I had a Caprese Salad (loved it, but a little fresh basil would have made it better!), husband had a side salad. We split a calzone..and still brought half of it home. They are shareable and great! Great crust, all that’s homemade mozz! Yum! Total bill about $50 with wine, plus tip.
The vibe was a small, family owned, trattoria, casual dining, with authentic, homemade Italian food, complete with Italian and Rat Pack music in the background. The house Chianti was very good too! Reminds me of the old neighborhood restaurants in upstate New York I miss so much. I loved the experience.
Listen, not to bust chops, but most places here in Pahrump don’t understand what “timing the meal” means. I like fast service, but I don’t like to feel rushed. So many restaurants here bring the salad, soup& app out at once and entree after we’ve had like three bites. I hate that!
Ashlynn was our server and she understood the assignment! 🤩🤩Excellent service the entire meal. Not just drop and walk and we don’t see her again! We are only bummed that we didn’t find this place sooner, especially since it’s in the same parking lot as Johnny’s, which we used to frequent but the service there has always been weak 🤦🏻♀️. The food quality is starting to go down hill there too, sadly. (The margaritas are still good tho!) We will be back in the fall and can’t wait to...
