My friend and I came into the Waffle House got seated immediately. It was not busy. The host that seated us was extremely nice. She took our drink order and came back immediately. The waitress name Stacey was hyped up on something because she was so quick to get our order as soon as we got our drinks. I used the back of the napkin the dirty silverware was on to wipe off my lipstick. I had the dirty silverware in my hand and she said is your silverware dirty I said yes. She took the silverware and brought it back in a coffee cup with hot water in it. That is disgusting. How about buffing your silverware before you put it on the table. She had way too many tables. I ordered the Party Melt and changed the cheese from what they had on the menu. I love the walnut bread there. That is why we went there. I really prefer Blueberry Hill Omelets. She was so busy taking tables and running around and kept forgetting the things we asked for. I did not see any other servers to tell them that my Patty Melt was over cooked. When she came by I told her and she said SORRY ABOUT THAT. We was like that is ridiculous. Then she put the check down and said I'll bring you a box. My friend and I like cleaning up the table to make it easy on the server. She brought the box back dropped off the check and throughout the whole time we sat there she kept going back to a table and sitting down with them. The check was wrong. If she was focusing she would of heard me say I wanted to change the cheese o the Patty Melt. She charged for extra cheese. My friend got the Tuna Melt and asked for extra onions and she charged for that. She should have told us that it is an extra charge. We would have gotten it anyway. My friend is a Manager at a prestious restaurant at Planet Hollywood. I was a server for 35 years until I retired back east. I told her about the cheese so she took the extra cheese off. She was so interested in going back to that table to talk to those customers. In my opinion bringing me back my dirty silverware in hot water is not professional and racist. I went to the bathroom and the restaurant was dirty. The floors especially. We paid the check up front and told the cashier about her response about the Party Melt and the cashier said she did not ask to make a new one. I said no. The cashier was surprised. The Manager had already left for the day. I called their 3 times asking for the Manager and was told she left for the day. I left a message to the cashier { I recognize her voice} and she never called me back. It has been a month now. We will Never go back there again. I even called the Manager cell phone number that is on the website. Left a message and still no return call. I found out she owns the other Omelet House on Boulder Highway. I called that one as well. She was gone for the day as well. So I asked who is running the restaurant and the person did not answer the question. Just took my name and number and said he will give her the messag when she comes back later on at night. They close at 3. FYI: Make sure your silverware is clean and it should be buffed. Not with food on it or water spots. Definitely not brought back in a cup...
Read moreTo start, I had one of the best breakfast dinning experances I have ever had. Was getting my vehicle serviced half a mile down the street from them and spotted the Omelet House on my way to drop it off. It was 103 degrees at the time, but I made the trek, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked through the door, I was met buy a wonderful hostes, I was seated right away and ask about what my drink selection was. A server was at my table soon after with a great run through of my dinning options. Wow, all the omelets are made with 6 eggs, though you can order them a three eggers if you want, at a 99 cent discount. I would say that a large number of the omelets are at a $10.29 price which is very reasonable due to 6 egg size and the vast selection of fill item combinations. I chose the Popeye, spinach, mushroom and jack cheese. I was not disappointed at all. Added house made Pico de Gallo and I was near bliss. They do not have hash browns, instead they serve thick cut potatoe chip style spuds. These are still cooked flat top I think and we're also seperb. Then there was a choice of breads, which included a daily in house Pumpkin nut bread. The portion size on this is also large, a 3 x 3 inch or large square that was 2 inch thick, with butter on the side....needless to say it was fantastic.. Coffee was fresh and not bitter at all, a very tasty grind.
The funny thing is now that I've written this review, I'm hungry. They are 8 miles from home and I'm going to get in my truck right now, they had an omelet with chunks of real lobster that sounds very interesting.
Have a great time and enjoy your meal, I know I did, and soon will again.
Next time I'll take pic's, forgot to this time, couldn't stop myself...

Have you been somewhere and the Customer service was so on point you were even surprised yourself? Today was that day. With life progressing the way it has, you automatically know, you are going to wait. The food may take some time. And you may be at the receiving end of an employee who has to work a role that was intended for 3-4 people, who decided to not show up for their job. So for that kindness and compassion goes a long way.
Upon entering was quickly greeted and ushered over to a booth. Menus were given and drink order was taken. That is where Miss Stacey with the glasses shows up. Wow that server had 12 tables because she had shown her A game and others decided to not come in. She never once missed a beat.
Opted for the Chicken Fried Steak Omelette and a 38 special. Plus that good ol banana and pumpkin bread they are known for. This location remained in consistency as the other locations I have visited. Very on point. I love when it comes out just the way you thought it would.
Interior is huge. There are several seating arrangements. Booths and tables. It can accommodate small to larger parties with ease. Everything was clean. All of the employees that were present def had this well oiled machine of working in unison down to a science.
Would most def recommend- pricing is fair for the portions. They haven't skimped on the quality at all. If you get the chance all to be seated in Stacey's section. She will make sure you are taken care of, even if she has several tables.
Location is Boulder Hwy/ Russell Rd -...
