Food was good, but the funny thing was that my boyfriend and I went here because we appreciated the snap backs from the owners on the bad reviews slash it sounded like the ambiance was a good fit for the kind of food we were looking for. The food was good which is why this isn’t one star, but a few reasons for the two star review: 1) We tried to call ahead to see if patio dining was available. The hostess asked if we’d mind holding, which we didn’t, but we were on hold for literally 12 minutes before giving up. Called back only to be sent to voicemail multiple times. Okay whatever, maybe they’re busy, no worries. 2) We walk in after another couple and ask if there’s outside seating. The bartender seems really annoyed with us for asking and waved us outside. Okay, maybe she’s busy too. Fine. We go outside. She comes out a little bit later and throws some menus at us, no greeting, asks if we know what we want to drink yet. “Is it in the menu?” I ask. “Yeah,” she says and points at the menu while walking back in. Okay, we expected sassy. That’s fine. 3) Finally get our orders in after having to flag her back outside because we thought they forgot about us. Food comes out in a reasonable amount of time and the redhead food runner was actually really nice. But then zero checks in on us for refills whatsoever, and after finishing our food we waited a little over a half hour for the lady to come back out. We go back in finally to ask if we can get the check. She acts annoyed again and says yeah she’ll get it, but...20 minutes later, no check. My boyfriend had to walk back inside with his credit card and just ask if he could pay at the counter because we’d been at the restaurant for so long at that point we just wanted to go home. 4) Like some of the other reviews point out, some of the wait staff are good with following the mask covering guidance while half don’t wear them at all or have them pulled over their chins or just halfway over their face. I know the ideal thing is to eat at home if you’re worried, but since we’re both on the road and staying in a hotel right now, it’s not an option tonight (hence the eating outside). Anyways, maybe just a bad night with the wrong wait staff for us. Seems to be popular with the locals from the conversations I was eavesdropping on.

This was our 1st time to the grid.. It was a great experience. The service was good the food was great the flavors were wonderful. Anybody looking for a new place to eat that has more than just burgers there's a great selection of foodfor breakfast, lunch and dinner. I invite you to experience the grid. Update: lunch was such a great experience, we took friends out for dinner the same day! It was a completely different experience. The service was 'meh'. Had to ask for anything, like silverware, water and soda refills, steaksauce... The steak was perfectly cooked, so kudos on that ( and there were 3 ordered at our table alone) but there were some items that didn't rise to the occasion. Blue cheese/Roquefort. When we go to a restaurant, especially the first time, I always order Ranch and Blue Cheese dressing on the side for my salad. I know what ranch taste like, but the latter can be a surprise either way. Unfortunately, this one was gloopy and tasteless. Not even the blue cheese could be tasted through it. This being said, I would still go to the grid, and it still gets the five stars, because even the atmosphere in the restaurant was a great experience both times, even if the second time was mostly because friends were with us for their first time.

We came here for lunch on Mother's Day and thought it looked like a cute, new restaurant with a fun vibe. Our expectations were lowered once we got our appetizer. We got the crispy shrimp and they gave us 5 small shrimp for $14. The only upside of that was that our toddler loved them. I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich and it was not great, especially for the price. The chicken tasted like bland, baked chicken. I wish it tasted more restaurant quality and was marinated or something. It would have been a lot better too if it was served on toasted sandwich bread instead of on a grocery store burger bun. It wasn't even toasted. The fries were good. My husband got the beef sliders and ordered a side of onion rings. The onion rings were good but the batter didn't seem to be cooked all the way through on some of them. My husband said the beef was good and he enjoyed the sliders but the prices were higher than what we were willing to pay for the quality of the food.

My boyfriend and I went to The Grid hoping for a great experience as we were very hungry and excited for our first corn maze as a couple. After ordering our appetizer around 650pm, (give or take 5 minutes), we quickly realized we weren't going to have time for a meal before we had to be at the corn maze due to traffic stalling for 25 minutes. I told our server when she came back with our drinks that we won't be ordering meals due to the time constraint and would likely come back for dinner after. 40 minutes later and we still didn't have our appetizer order of just potatoe skins. When my boyfriend went to the bar to ask about our appetizer, ( because shes was also the bartender for the entire restaurant), it took another 15 minutes. We sat down about 640 and received our appetizer at 745! We expressed our disappointment with our server with calmness and respect and she tried making poor excuses for the wait instead of the clear mistep that happened, be it from her not giving the ticket or the kitchen missing it or a server that was helping her since she was both a server and bartender or something else. There was a mistake made, own it. That's all we wanted. I said "No ma'am you don't feed a table of 4 meals 15 minutes before we get our appetizer when they sat down 10 minutes after us." She literally ignored me and said "have a nice night" with such snarky sass we decided to speak to the floor manager. Guess what....it was our delightful server and bartender. My boyfriend with all the kindness he has still stayed calm and told her as a manager she dropped the ball in how she's handled this. He understood how her having these 3 positions was difficult, but this was not acceptable serveice. She stood her ground as this wasn't her fault and it was out of her control because "you see how busy we are". Lady, let me repeat: a table of 4 people were sat after us! (I know, we moved from that table, unfortunately into your section) and served their entire meal 10 minutes before we got our appetizer. We were literally about to ask to pay for our drinks and leave when you came with our food. The way you handled this was wrong. Do better. I sadly forgot her name since she spoke it over my boyfriend speaking, letting us know we could call corporate. Cora? Something close to that. We're incredibly disappointed in the poor management since the food and restaurant...

Okay food and drinks but the service was subpar.

The place was busy for sure but that really shouldn't be an excuse for no waiting at our outdoor seating. Many customers entered the establishment without any face covering despite clear sign at the door. Staff made no effort to remind anyone about it. In addition, I saw at least 3 waitresses bot wearing their masks properly, which does not add to the sense of security. Other reviewers have pointed out the same issue but the owner claimed for compliance because they 'reviewed video' as if that would negate what customers saw. If you saw some problem, better take a photo as evidence I guess? Additionally, just because consumers points out these issues doesn't mean they should be the one staying home. The responsibility is on the restaurant to ensure safe environment for all, not just those who did not care about their own health.

The salad we ordered seems fresh but plain, while the sandwich is really dry. Fries are good though.

It took us 3 attempts to finally pay for our meal after 30 minutes done eating... All in all, could be a lot better experience. Would not recommend if you cared for safety against COVID and would not go back. Hope people get lucky and not contract virus there~

The owner has responded that I should not be traveling if I am concerned about COVID. Well, I work in healthcare and knows how to properly minimize the risk I bring by wearing masks at all time and practicing good hand hygiene any time I touch something. Only if this place and staff could...
