Mood- Pastrami
I am going to start this off by first stating why in the name of everything that holds my sanity haven't I entertained this place. I will blame it on the idea of so much food so little time. Then I will put myself in the corner for a timeout.
Upon entering was quickly greeted and asked if I had any questions. I was curious about the menu as there are many options and different ways to concoct that perfect sandwich. My answers were all answered with ease.
I of course got that Pastrami. Now I have a real affection for a solid Pastrami. It is like looking for a true Boston Creme Pie or Unicorn tear. However I seek out when I am able and entertain when I find. I got it on their signature bread with everything on it. I was very pleased with the results. The meat was great quality- and it wasn't skimpy meat either.
Interior is several table and chair arrangements along with pub style tables. Everything was very clean. And to my surprise it was not busy at all. This place should have been packed. Music was playing in the background. Staff were wearing masks to ensure good ol Covid safety.
Would most def recommend - pricing was reasonable and portions were very nice. I cant complain about the meat on my sandwich at all. Now I will admit I should have bought at least 2. So I could have something to munch on later that evening. But with that being said it just gives me another reason to come back and buy more. Staff is very courteous...
Read moreI just wanted to give my experience with this TOGO sandwich place. I'm so disappointed. I've been wanting to try this place for a long time. Tonight I ordered a chicken grilled steak sandwich and I also purchase a Roast Beef turkey cheddar sandwich for my son and it was terrible.I have pictures to show that when I try to even pick the other half of my sandwich it fell apart. They don't know how to make sandwiches.Sorry but the workers need a better training on making sandwiches. The thing that disappointed me the most that I thought I was a getting a Grilled chicken hot off the grill and find out everything was microwave. So terrible! My son got more turkey then Roast beef in his sandwich. Why called it Roast beef turkey cheddar if you are barely getting Roast beef and load up the sandwichwith just turkey. If I were you I would go somewhere else in town to get better sandwich. Because this place doesn't meet high exceptions to be a sandwich place. I forgot to mention very pricey sandwich and the portion size is small. SORRY 😞 to the owner but I will never return again and will not be recommending this place to my family...
Read moreI’m from the Bay Area where ToGo’s originated and I started going there in the 70’s. I was so happy when I heard they were coming to vegas finally. I have ate at the Henderson shop and it was decent. This one is OK, however, I think they need some training and possibly more care when making sandwiches. Never ever should pepperoncini’s be like this on a sandwich. Served on the side maybe. Why do you not have sliced peps? Also, the bread was just not there. I have noticed this same comments in your reviews and this has not been addressed yet. Also, the sandwich was so dry. (Part of the bread problem) Honestly, I loved ToGo’s, and I eat about 5-10 sandwiches a week. With the competition as stiff as it is now, I hope ToGo’s lasts, because Firehouse, CHeBA and even Jersey Mike’s are kicking your behind. I will obviously give it another chance in another couple months or so if it’s still there, but wasn’t...
