If I could give zero stars I would. Oh, where do I start? I don’t really like leaving reviews, especially bad reviews but every time that I go, I have the same experience, The food is good but the customer service is horrific. I drive out of my way to go to this location and I’m Definitely regretting it. I love eating here but my family doesn’t ONLY because of the Service. Each time as I make the 20 minutes + drive I hope that I don’t get the same lady at the window and… each time… I do. I try really hard to be kind and not argue and use manners and the lady shrugs me off like I didn’t even say anything, not a big deal but if you want to get the food you paid for and not the food, they want to give you, well you might have a problem then. Each time we go we rarely get what we ask for. And if we are fortunate enough to actually get what we paid for and have something of our order missing, well I hope dry chicken trendies sounds good because you get however many sauces the argumentative lady in the drive through feel you should get. Which is usually one to two per box. Sometime even 0! 😊😒
I asked for more, but the lady at the door angrily shoved less than I asked for in a bag then angrily handed it to me. Each time I go the drive through service is rude, and I’m sure some of the employees are great, but I always seem to get the same one who acts like I’m wronging her for asking for basic service.😒
I asked for more sauce a specific amount was told okay then handed less in an opaque bag. I wasn’t able to see how many was in the bag. Then when I complained that they gave me less. and I was told I’d have to pay extra. Normally I would just assume it was a mistake and I would brush it off but this happens to me every time! Last time I said is their however many I asked for, and she said “there’s enough.” There was 4 to use between three boxes of chicken and wedges.
If they want you to pay extra for sauces that is TOTALLY FINE! I am willing to pay extra, that is Okay. What is not okay is to say Okay when some one asks you for at least a certain number of sauces, and then they purposefully give you less and act like you didn’t. Just tell me I have to pay extra and let me pay… are you guys allergic to money or something?!?! Why would you give me the opportunity to PAY MORE?!? That just makes it seem like its some weird power trip thing???
I did eventually get my sauces without having to pay extra, but as much as I like your food, I can probably just find a different Lee’s, and chick-fil-a isn’t...
Read moreWe showed up at 21:30 the web site said it was open till 23:00 but the doors said it closed at 22:00. At 9:30pm they had all the fryer's shut down! The cook tried to deter my husband from ordering the chicken fried steak telling him it would take: :08 min. to get his fryer back up. The girl running the register wasn't answering the drive thru window & had her head set off! I saw 3 cars try the drive thru & get no response at 9:30pm. When the cook had to turn the fryer back on he started slamming metal stuff around & making as much noise as he could! Another couple that I always see there came in and tried to order 2 chicken fried steak dinner's then when the cashier tried to call them back to the cook the cook started screaming curse words as loud as he could from the kitchen ( which was quite upsetting, the owner is a Christian & always plays Christian music that is part the reason we go there!! ) the couple got so upset and offended & upset they just left, when the cashier told the cook they left he calmed down & was happy?? Then another guy came in at 9:40pm after going through the drive thru & not being acknowledgeed. The cook started throwing a fit & cursing again very loudly & when the man started to order he yelled at the cashier we are out of most everything!!! The cashier told the customer hold on she would and see what was left and let him know. So the customer agreed to take what was left. When we got our food I was to upset to eat over the hissy fit the cook was throwing & my husband was afraid to eat his since when the cook was fixing it he made a big point of coughing very loudly several times between his cursing & banging everything meatel he could bang or either throw. We may never go there again & we will be telling EVERY one at our church in the morning!!! After the customer came in at 9:40 the cashier couldn't run faster to the doors to LOCK them early. When we got home we fed the food to the dog the mashed potatoes were all dried out with only a couple drops of gravy & the gravy cup for my husband's chicken fried steak only had about a tablespoon of gravy. Something was so wrong with it our dog just sniffed it & walked away! It was a very horrible experience. I wish I could let the owner know about these rotten employees. They will ruin his business!!! Read moreIf I could give this dump zero stars….I would have. Visited this establishment on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at approximately 7:00 PM. Ordered the following: Shrimp dinner, 3 piece mixed meal with corn and mashed potatoes, 2 strip meal with potato salad and coke slaw, 3 strip meal with potato salad and Mac n cheese. Got to the window and was told. We don’t have any chicken legs, ok we subbed out a wing, then we don’t have any corn, ok we subbed baked beans. Got home one of the meals had a totally burnt a biscuit and forgot to put a meal in the big. Went back with the biscuit explained the situation and was told by the manager shrimp meal wasn’t paid for. They didn’t put a receipt in the bag either. The meal that was supposed to get potato salad got mashed with no gravy. Had to pay for the shrimp dinner. The clerks were RUDE. The manager EVERETT did not offer an apology, free meal or anything. By the time I got back home…food was cold. Chicken tenders were all breading and no chicken. If you live in New Albany stay clear from this train wreck. I will be calling the home office tomorrow and the Better Business Bureau. The rudest, unprofessional, I don’t care establishment, and I use that term loosely, I have ever been to. Everett needs to be fired. My family will never go back to that dump.
