One of the best places I've been too in terms of food & service! The owner is PHENOMENAL! He's always there and has always made us feel welcome by approaching us and making sure we feel comfortable. He even asked if he could push in my chair for me when I went to sit, haha. Service is on top by asking if we need another cocktail, asking how they taste, collecting our plates when we're finish. I've loved the chefs there and how we can ask questions and give feedback. I could ramble on and on about how they're doing everything right. This is a great place for a date night, or a small group of friends or family to visit. It's 100% worth it and we always look forward to going when we can! This was my wife and I's 2nd time. We went about 2 weeks ago and the food and service were REALLY good.
The only reason I deducted a star is because we were sat at one of the tables off of the main counter. As I stated the food and service were awesome but you really don't get the same experience. The website does mention that it's possible to be sat there but my wife couldn't find were our tickets said we would be seated there.(It's possible we missed it) I would simply recommend patrons know before they arrive and/or offer a small discount at the tables.

My husband and I visited MESA for the first time last Saturday. It was a Christmas gift from my mother-in-law to the entire family - so there were 8 of us in our group. It was incredible! The portions were generous. The food was creatively prepared and beautifully presented. The lamb especially was done to perfection - tender and juicy. I also want to emphasize how grateful I am that thoughtful, local dining experiences are offered here in New Albany (for those of us who don't like eating at chain restaurants.)
