I am so ecstatic to finally have an authentic boba shop here in New Albany! The aesthetic inside is all warm neutrals, and I absolutely love how they’ve decorated it. (10/10 for playing KPOP haha) Everything I’ve tried thus far has been immaculate, and I can’t wait to try more!

Drinks: Sakura Latte • Sakura has a pleasantly floral taste, but without being overbearing. The espresso is more mild than a lot of the other shops in town, and I think this is super well balanced. It’s my favorite drink I’ve had from Milo’s! (Pictured Below) Strawberry Matcha Latte • It’s as delicious as it sounds! The strawberry layer on the bottom is so yummy. I’ve been wanting to try a Strawberry Matcha forever and this did not disappoint. Milk Teas • I’ve tried Coconut, Strawberry, & Taro flavors, and all of them have been great. The drinks taste like the authentic ones I grew up having in Chinatown.

Pastries: Egg Tart • If you like Creme Brulee or Flan, imagine that inside of a flaky pastry shell. It reminds me of my childhood everytime I have one! Strawberry Sando • I’ve seen Japanese fruit sandwiches online for a while now, and have always wanted to try one. It was similar to a Strawberry Shortcake, but the sweetness was much more mild. I understand the hype 100%. Bubble Cake • I mean, just look at...

First of all, I have to give credit where credit is due. There are a lot of businesses in New Albany that sell Boba tea, and I have been disappointed by nearly all of them. However, Milos boba tea was a ballpark smash for me. I’ve been looking for a full flavor, rich and satisfying, brown sugar milk tea since my favorite place to get it in Louisville shut down and I finally found it at Milo’s. The drinks are not watered down like some others. The tapioca Boba and Crystal Boba are amazing. I will say I was slightly disappointed with the food only because I love dessert, and the strawberry Sando and Ube crêpe cake are not incredibly sweet, but if you are somebody who enjoys a light sweetness, they will be perfect for you. The atmosphere is good. The customer service is good too. There’s not a whole lot to the interior but you can sit down inside or outside if the tables aren’t full. Overall, I give Milo a four out of five stars because the tea is incredible and I will be coming back for it, but the sweets aren’t very sweet and quite smaller than I...

Wow! Absolutely blown away with the level of service and quality offered at Milo’s. The mango fruit tea was so refreshing paired with the fruit Sando, cheesecake and a cupcake. All their desserts look amazing and I can’t wait to try all of them along with the selection of drinks. I have especially been craving a fruit Sando ever since visiting. Great prices, friendly, cozy atmosphere and delicious and authentic menu items. Love the story behind why the owners (Destin and Eamer) started the boba shop and how they named it after their precious son Milo. If you get a chance to talk to them, they are great people and you will enjoy hearing their stories. Highly...
