Charlie's Pizza — Restaurant in New Bedford

not sure what happened with the place but the service and food quality aswell has gone downhill over the last year to the point the foods barely edible, youre told 30 minutes on the phone and get cold food an hr later. it takes 25 minutes to make a small pizza, there is no reason i should be waiting an hr for COLD FOOD. i used to order here daily, but the rude staff who answer the phone then put you on hold for 10 mins to gossip with their co workers ( i watched them do it while in the store a few differnet times ) and TERRIBLE food quality and service has made me a once a month IF that customer and after today, with the way they answered the phone , spoke to me on the phone, and my 1 hour wait for a small COLD pizza for more money then most places . i will never order from here again, i live not even 10 mins away by car . you have no excuse to be making people wait an hr and serving ice cold food thats as hard as a hockey puck. i dont care if you dont want to do it because i live close, my grandfather who i order for is elderly and disabled , show...

Was very disappointed service was as great played with my daughter was very pleasant. Waited 45 minutes for my food. just so that it would be well done it was a Saturday I left work my wife had wanted her favorite steak tip dinner from Charlie’s so we went there . Asked the gentleman several times to make sure the tips where we’ll done we got are food around 8:45 he said it took longer because we wanted the tips we’ll done . Got are food head home to the south . Get home now time to eat tips where still pink I knew they closed at 9 that day so I tried to catch them it was too late. So I called on the next business day which was Monday the boss was so Inconsiderate to the fact that my tips where not done and goes into saying I hardly doubt that happen even I know in a restaurant mistakes are made he didn’t offer no resolution not even a sorry he was so full of himself that he didn’t care . Favorite pizza in town! Born and raised in NB and it took me 3 decades to realize what good pizza tasted like. When a similar family style pizza shop opened up in the neighborhood, I also left a great review although they never seem EVER be open. It led me to order from this gem one night, and I haven’t been elsewhere every since. Something about sliced, crisp linguiça melting into gooey cheese just makes it so special.
