A very small restaurant hidden amongst the chaos of downtown; however, probably one of the best I've ever been to! I was introduced to this place by a family friend and have been bringing everyone I know here since. The food is delicious, well-cooked, healthy, and fairly-priced! The seats are arranged very nicely so there's enough space for everyone and there's even outdoor seating regardless on the weather! (Though, I recommend staying inside in the cold and rain). Everytime I've been here, the place has been super clean and the staff is always very well-mannered; however, they don't exactly have a set menu. The menu is a chalkboard set up on the wall to your right along the counter. On days where it's less busy, you might wanna have an idea of what you want before you approach the cashier; though, they're usually pretty patient. Despite having to order at the counter, you can find a seat directly after and they'll bring you your food; sometimes they'll even give you a cute little wooden letter to help them identify what order belongs to each table. Very creative methods! Altogether, this little restaurant has tons of character and lives up to nearly everyone's...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped into Destination Soups for the first time for Thursday night dinner, the only night they stay open past 4:00, until 7:00. We arrived after 6:00 and the restaurant was bustling. Despite this, we were served quickly but not rushed. Our servers, Dan, and a young lady, were absolutely amazing. Dan recommended a chilled watermelon side salad that was prepared perfectly with lemon juice, salt, feta, and fresh mint. Don’t knock it until you try it, truly gourmet taste for only $5.50. We found the prices truly reasonable. Dan checked on us a couple times to make sure we were enjoying our meal, and he’s as sweet as pie. After our watermelon and tomato basil soup, we enjoyed a rick cheese grilled cheese and a wunderkind salad loaded with fresh beets, quinoa, avocado, and more. Just exquisite! We will definitely be back next Thursday for dinner, and whenever we get a chance to stop by for lunch. Delicious, healthy food, fun atmosphere, and especially great service. What more could you ask for? We are so glad we chose Destination Soups for our first sit down meal in...
