This is a quiet Italian place right on national avenue in New Berlin. They remodeled at some point in the last few years so it’s a nicer vibe on the inside for sure. Very cute silverware chandelier in the front entryway! On this trip my husband got his own pizza so he had leftovers for lunches…he liked the pizza. It wasn’t like the best he’s ever had, but it was good! I’m on keto to lose more than a few unwanted pounds so I bypassed the pizza and went with their blackened cod. Yes…it was $17. But it was SOOO GOOD. They give you two roughly 5 oz chunks of cod, so I was able to eat the one and take the other home. Even the next day reheating it in the microwave for a minute was all it needed and it was just as good day2. It’s a quiet place, has a small bar attached you can drink in while you wait and you get bread and butter at the table.

We dined in-great food, great service. We had the gluten free chicken marsala, gluten free penne with marinara and combo plate and meatballs. (See pics) Updated interior with a cozy feel. The dining area has a fireplace in it-super cute! Outdoor seating available, nice bar and counter height tables. Entrance is wheelchair friendly. Would definitely recommend. BONUS: They have gluten-free pizza and also gluten free dinner options.

Dinners are over priced for the portion size. The pasta was chewy and had hard chunks in it. The steak was small for $24. The only item worth ordering, after several visits, is the pizza. Don't plan on delivery. They have a delivery sign, however a driver isn't always available. I've had to pick up my pizza several times.

Ordered 2 extra large pizzas today for carryout. One sausage onion and the second pizza was half just cheese and the other half sausage pepperoni and an order of cheese garlic bread.

Checked the order when I got to the car and found they made the second pizza all sausage pepperoni, no half with just cheese. I went back inside to let them know about the mistake.

When I approached the woman at the counter and let her know about the mistake. I even showed her the receipt that clearly stated 1/2 cheese 1/2 sausage pepperoni. I told her I didn't want to wait for a remake if it meant the other food would get cold. Without saying a word, she started taking the pizza back, but didn't offer any remedy to the situation, no partial refund, no gift card, nothing.

The whole attitude they had about the situation was infuriating and the fact that they didn't even care to offer a remedy shows they really don't care like the original owners used to.

At this point we don't think we will ever go back again without some act of good will...

I'm always sorry to pan any restaurant, but I have to give negative feedback on my first trip here. My wife talked me into sharing a pizza with her so we ordered a large supreme along with some breaded mushrooms. The mushrooms came quickly and were your common, frozen, fry and serve appetizer. The portion was large and the ranch dressing that came with it was just enough for it's size. The pizza looked good upon arrival but closer inspection revealed what I suspected were pre-cooked Italian sausage pellets that you find on frozen pizzas. Once we dug in, my suspicions were confirmed. Very disappointing. I was also disappointed with the crust, it bore many similarities with a pre-formed, par-baked crust. Today when I ate the leftovers for lunch, I looked at the edges and they had all the tell-tale marks of machine stamping. For an old-school Italian restaurant to try to pass this off as anything but a glorified frozen pizza is a sorry state of affairs. Your staff was pleasant and were helpful, Please give them something to...

Our first visit and we were very happy. Our server, Kathy, was very attentive, nice and genuine. The menu selections where of the usual Italian restaurants you’d find in the area. However, the food was outstanding. One of the best meatballs in the area. The texture, flavor and presentation was top notch. A wonderfully rich and tasty Marsala sauce for my beautiful wife was also a hit. They took us as a walk in and were very accommodating. Salads were very fresh and a large amount of dressing was provided. The old fashions were well done although made with Jero still very very good. We got there at the elderly seating time. Lol. But by 5:30 it was starting to fill up. Big dinning space but a small parking lot.

Overall we were very very happy with our first trip and have already picked out our next entrees for our next visit. Thank you Kathy and the...
