Christoph's on the Water — Restaurant in New Bern

Holy mother of Gawd. Our server, Erin, was just slow. I could understand a server being busy and taking time to get to our table, but we were literally the only ones left in the restaurant. First, didn't even get asked if we wanted drinks - had to ask ourselves about 10-15 minutes after we were given water to start. Took another 5ish minutes for the drinks. Food came out about half an hour after we ordered, that bordered on long for the being the only patrons there. Our main issue was that she never checked back on us. We were finished for a good 20 minutes before we saw her again. The whole time she was inside cleaning up, where she could see us. We were outside just 20 feet away, she could see us. Took another 10 minutes to process the credit card. Food was okay, presented well but nothing extraordinary, especially for the price. Decor inside was okay, a little dated, I think our patio furniture on our deck is better than the outdoor seating. Nice view of the water though. ...

My wife and I were looking for a nice restaurant for dinner. The online menu looked fantastic with some good reviews. When we showed up we were given our menus and they were very different than the online posting. When we asked about the discrepancy we were told corporate has made changes to their menus. There was no prior mention of this change and the staff didn't seem to care about any inconvenience this posed as they were very dismissive despite having known it to be an issue before we mentioned it to them. We decided to go to another resteraunt that has the dishes we wanted and thought were available here. If you decide to dine here do not expect what they have...

Not that it matters but I'm a Hilton diamond member. I have a 10 minute wait rule. Sunday June 30 2018 went to main reastraunt hostess told me she would be back shortly. 10 minutes never showed so I walked out. July 3 with great Hope's of things going better I went in on the bar side and had a seat @ a table well guess what not 1 but 2 bartenders walked by me twice with never asking me for any type of order. 10 minute wait I walked out not one but two times shame on me for going back...
