This was my first time going to Wingstop. And as they say first impressions are most important... I placed my order online at 7:50 pm. Arrived at the location just after 8 pm. Upon first entering the establishment, there are several people in waiting at the front. I also noticed two shelves with bagged food on them. I waited patiently and noticed the crowded staff seemed very disorganized and chaotic with some people not having an identifiable duty. Strange. The way food is handed out is confusing not one showing any interest in doing their job well. One young lady places a bag of food on the shelf and then says a name "out loud". I say out loud in quotations because she said it so low I couldn't hear her. This happened at least 3-4 more times while I was waiting in line. Apparently the customer is supposed to somehow hear this and come get their food. In reality these bags sit there until a customer gets agitated enough to come looking for their food. Not a good sign. I finally get to the cashier who seemingly wandered around for no apparent reason a few times in between customers. I showed the cashier my phone with the online order. She pulls it off the shelf. (It was already sitting there the whole time) and hands it to me. The drink machine was almost out of everything. So I got two bottled drinks. Finally make it home and the fries are not hot, not warm, but completely cold. Have you've ever seen fries so cold they shriveled? That was these. I literally stuck my hand in them and there was zero discernible heat from them. There's no way these were made within an hour of me placing my order unless stored in a fridge. That was disappointing. We were also missing out 2nd dipping sauce. The only redeeming value was the wings were actually hot (temperature wise) and rather flavorful. The boneless were tender, not dry. So that's the only redeeming value of this experience. Will I return? That's a big fat... Maybe. The place has potential, but needs...
Read moreI’ll start with a pro, the food was pretty decent. The chicken sandwich was over seasoned (which is not something I say often) but it was a solid meal for the price.
Even so, I’m never returning to this restaurant again as it is now. Which is a shame because I used to go frequently when I lived near one in the past. We waited nearly an HOUR for our food. We ordered 2 chicken sandwich meals. Nothing crazy. No add-ons or special requests. I watched the staff talk, laugh, and work with no sense of urgency. Even had one of the staff talking on a cell phone. I was told unprompted after about 35 minutes by one of the staff that “our food was coming so be patient”. When we watched 5-10 more orders come out that weren’t ours and it was getting to the hour mark of our waiting, I finally told my husband that we can just request a refund and leave because I didn’t think we were going to get our food.
As we went to request a refund, we were asked our name and the staff looked at us like WE were being ridiculous as they said “your order pick up time is 6:45”. It was 7:10 by this point. I’m sure they realized that after trying to make it seem like it was “barely” past our pick up time because they gave us 2 free brownies. Frankly, not good enough. They finally got us our food within a few minutes. I’m certain they just forgot about our order and bumped it to the front when we said something.
I hope this establishment gets a complete management and employee overhaul in the near future or I won’t be returning anytime in the near or distant future. And I’m not surprised to see many reviews of individuals that also had awful...
Read moreWalked in today to get a family order and unfortunately they messed up on my meal. However the managers quickly fixed the problem . But in doing so, one of the cookers named “lamarc” Or whatever his name was Kept complaining, even though it was completely his fault for messing up my order more than twice. On the way out of the store, he decided to make a comment about my weight and when I confronted him, he walked away and hid In the back. Once I confronted the problem, he continued to hide in the very back of the store and I asked for his name and the Corperate # number because I will be reporting this to Corperate # because you don’t talk about peoples weight when you caused the problem in the first place. This excuse of a man shouldn’t be working at all. Hopefully, after the managers assessed the problem and reprimanded him, they will take action against him, and he will no longer work for Wingstop. Will be calling for an update. Other than that, the...
