7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in New Bern

Update: Because the drinks are actually pretty good, I have gone back a few times. I still have issues with the atmosphere, and there seems to be a trend of hiring preference with the employees.... interesting. Must be a part of the business model. Another part of the business model that is entirely frustrating in this current economy is there are no posted prices (or menus) in the line itself, and yet high pressure to order quickly is prevalent. They want you to spend more of course. The only posted prices are all the way at the front of the car line where you would be picking up your drink. I made the employee frustrated when I held up her line because I simply needed to know the prices of what they were offering. She had to look up each individually on her Ipad. So I have gone ahead and attached the prices here.

So I have run through a few times, and I think the drinks are pretty good, no complaint's there. My big gripe is the atmosphere. Music and that much energy at 8am or whenever really is just way over the top. If I keep my window up its ok, but then they want to come chat like we are best friends. I would just like a drink of the delicious coffee , not make small talk or join the rave environment its just too much. This evening they had employees standing out in the rain making small talk. I had a busy day and wanted a good coffee. I usually get a cold brew coffee from Sheetz or Circle K, so that pretty much is my coffee knowledge. I believe her name was Emily, she came up to take my order. She was super sweet and helpful! She helped me with my search for a cold brew with sugar free vanilla and caramel and I was thrilled to be able to get an extra shot of expresso! Since I was a new customer I had a free small drink option…WIN! I had no clue what to try. She told me her favorite was a frozen Key Lime Pie drink. Not being a fan of key lime or Lemon pie I passed. I love lemonades, not pie. Weird I know lol. She explained it was a frozen lemonade basically…well color me happy I had to try that! She said I could change out the key lime for strawberry and WOW!!! That was hands down the best summery lemonade I’ve ever had!!! It was a creamy frozen strawberry lemonade and it made me little kid happy!! The cool thing is the next time I go back there is a record of what I ordered, so I can get it all again easy peasy! And I am totally going again! I appreciate kindness, and a delicious product. If there was a way to leave a negative rating I would without a doubt put it here....this is the most unprofessional and ridiculous place of business I've ever seen....we pulled in to order a couple of iced coffees having never been here before....after finishing her conversation with another employee a young lady came up to our window to take our order...we asked where the menu was and was told that they'd all been stolen and that the board didn't work but we could pull up and someone would show us one...then after sitting a few minutes another employee told us the only way to see one was online ....as we sat there we watched several young employees goofing around and not a one offer to help us...another thing that caught our eye was what was scrawled on the board by one of them-- number of times almost hit by a car today....with more than 10 check marks on it-- don't waste your time going here unless you have their app and don't mind being 2nd to their fun and games...we drove away and went to Starbucks who I'm sure is glad they're running such a joke of a...
