Bush's Chicken — Restaurant in New Braunfels

My bff had me craving Bush's Chicken for about a week and a half. I am not from the area, but decided to go here. I made a big mistake. The baked chicken, (or I think it was), was greasy and the majority was all fat. Only thighs and breasts, no drumsticks/legs available ever for baked chicken, and no biscuits, what!? How can you sell chicken without biscuits!? SMH.

I personally did not like this chicken. I went to KFC to get my biscuit, but before tasting the food. I should have stuck to what I know and ordered at KFC....bad bff.

My ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating is for Jacob. Go Jacob!!! 🤗 He had a smile when he greeted me and throughout our interaction. This was my first purchase at a Bush's Chicken. He explained the menu for me with kindness and patience. I was going to give him a nice tip, but I didn't have any cash on me. I told him I was going to give him this review, (didn't mention the tip). 😉 I will go back this weekend and surprise him. Ssshhh!!! 🤫 It was so windy outside and you could tell he was cold, but that face still had that smile. 😊 I hope Bush's Chicken appreciate Jacob. He cares about his customers. Let's cheer for him and ask his boss for a raise!

My opinion is what it is, but judge for yourself. We like different foods. This might be a hit for you, but it was not for me.

This used to be one of our favorite place but lately it’s been disappointing every time we go by while we are in New Braunfels. A few days ago our order was mess up and didn’t realize until we got home. We called the place and talk to the manager by the name Angela and she give us her word that the order would be replace and to stop by at our convenience. We did a few days ago and we were disappointed again. A hispanic manager that was on duty that day we went back was very rude and unprofessional in approaching us with bunch of questions and making a big deal out of it. It was just frustrated just talking to him because he refuse to replaced our order or believe us and didn’t replace it after all only half of the order anyway. It was very unprofessional of himself as a manager to be rude. We regretted after all going back that day because the chicken had a bad taste that got us very sick and that conviene us not stop going by there again it just not the same no more. It’s...

I used to like this place just came back from this location. Let me tell you something. I love chicken I ate at chicken express 2 days before eating at bushes chicken. Both places are using cheaper bater or something the crust didn’t stay on from either place. I call it covid prices, they fell fir this hole hoax and the world shut down, now everyone that sells food is giving us less for more. This batter is not the same from chicken express or bushes. I also ordered gizzards the ones they gave me seemed about 3 hours to long under the light. Crust wouldn’t stay on them either. Hard as a soft rock. I would avoid all fast food chicken places.
