If I could give half a star I would. Not only have I been a long time customer of theirs but I always give them the benefit of the doubt to fix any mistakes they may have made. And let me say that their has been several. As a person who currently works in customer service and used to manage a small restaurant I am disgusted with how I have been treated. They always blame the customers for anything they have done wrong. They have messed up my order more times than they have gotten it right. The owners do not care about how they treat you and act as if they walk on water. I almost always order the same thing because of allergies and one day while eating at work they put something on my sandwich that I absolutely told them 3 times not to put on it. I not only had to leave work and be rushed to the er but the owners wife didnt care and even worse the sound manager guy they have was so rude and kept blaming me for having an allergic reaction and told me himself that he didn't care. I have been told so many times by coworkers and friends to never eat there because of their experiences with them. I really should have listened. Two days in a row they messed up my order. The owners wife promised to fix it and after an hour of waiting I call in and she said she isn't going to do anything. I am disgusted with how they treat customers and never take responsibility. Making someone wait an hour for their food when ur not even 5 minutes away is ridiculous. And then Blaming the customer for it is absurd. I was pregnant and still am when I had my allergic reaction with their food. I had to be hospitalized to make sure my baby was ok. I ended up being in the hospital for two days unsure if she was gonna make it since her heart rate dropped drastically. Nothing was ever replaced or refunded. They have delivered to our residence on multiple occasions and always exhibit exceptional professionalism even though we are outside of their delivery radius. If they are too busy to deliver to us then they will inform us but otherwise they are more than willing to accommodate. That really says a lot about their dedication to customers and I appreciate anytime they do so. The food is always good and they are always willing to accommodate customers if they feel like they've not served you to their standard. One time the delivery guy gave us extra chips and cookies because he thought he took to long to get to us. We didn't even raise any concern about the delivery time, in fact, we were pleased with his timing!
We're new to the area but we've ordered from this store several times and we've always had a great experience. As people who know the value of our dollar we always enjoy patronizing establishments who show good customer service. I then asked to speak to the manager with the complaint that "Jimmy Johns should deliver to the whole community of New Braunfels." The manager identified himself to me as Mark. After expressing my disappointment that Jimmy Johns did not deliver into my area, Mark suggested I call the Corporate office and tell the office myself. I then asked if it shouldn't be he that forwards my complaint for me. Mark became very annoyed that I said to him that being in business is all about making money and that my money will now go to a more welcoming business whom will deliver in my area.
