Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in New Brighton

Based on the reviews, whether or not you get good food or service is really just luck. I used to have positive things to say about this Domino's, but not for a while now.

The last few times that I've ordered from them, there have been multiple issues with each order. The last time, I arrived just as the "pizza tracker" indicated that my pizzas were ready to go. When I got up to the counter, I waited a few minutes for someone to help me. During that time, I heard the person removing pizzas say that they needed to throw out a pizza that got mangled while cooking because there were too many pizzas in the oven. As he listed the ingredients, I recognized that it was one of my pizzas.

I tried to tell them not to remake it, I'd just take the other pizza because I was in a rush, but I couldn't get anyone's attention.

A few minutes later, another customer came into the store with a pizza and said they gave him the wrong pizza - it had someone else's name on the label (My name, as it turns out). When the remake of my other pizza was done, they attempted to sell me the pizza that the other customer had left with and returned. (Pretty sure that violates some health codes)

They then offered to remake that one but not the first one (which would have meant that one would be hot and the other would have been sitting around for 10-15 minutes. When the person at the counter told the prep person to start to make a replacement pizza for that one, I tried to tell them they didn't tell them the right ingredients, but he was too busy trying to correct me to listen.

I was inside the store for over 1/2 an hour trying to get them to complete a simple two pizza order.

And then there's the exceptionally rude worker (a guy with shoulder length dark hair) who has said to me that part of customer service is being rude to a customer if they think the customer is being rude to them. And that when multiple mistakes are made, "Stuff happens."

From now on, I'll go to any of the other Domino's within driving distance rather than deal with...

If i was able to give this location 0 stars, that's what i would give it. The absolute worst customer service and experience i have had at any type of restaurant or delivery service in my life. My friends and I ordered a large pizza online and after we submitted it we realized that we forgot the soda, so immediately I called the store to ask if we could order a soda to accommodate or pizza and some drinks we had already, the man on the phone said yes... When the driver arrived he told us he forgot about the soda and would be back, so we gave him the payment and tip (which included the soda and a generous tip.) but after 45 minutes we noticed something was wrong. I called the store again and asked where our soda was. The man who answered said the driver had to make a few more deliveries but would come with the soda right away.... so, another 45 mins goes by and now i just wanted answers, i called back again to notify them that we never received our soda but it was to no avail, the man who answered simply said "i'd be pissed to, let me find out what happened, and ill call you back." Had i known that this is the experience i would have received, I never would have ordered anything from them, mt tip would have been a lot less generous than it was, and we never would have had an issue. But that's not the case and i still never got an answer from the staff that was working. I am extremely disappointed and will never order from this location again and i would never recommend it. as i mentioned earlier, 1 star is 1 star too many for this restaurant. The store was extremely dysfunctional, the pickup sign said people's orders were ready 30 minutes before they were, I watched things being made out of order with six item orders having 1 item come out of the oven at a time and seven to ten minutes between items, I had two pizzas in my order, my first pizza sat in the warmer for 25 minutes before my second one came out, and to top it all off the toppings on my pizzas were wrong, the was a pile of food as tall as me from people getting sick of waiting and canceling their orders, what makes it even more sad is some of the people had been waiting so long yet their order hadn't even been prepped yet, had the staff bothered to communicate they could have avoided wasting half the pile of food. Terrible. It's sad because I really like Domino's too and it's a block from my office so we order from here all the time, but lately this place has been going downhill faster than a semi truck with no brakes, on a oil slicked...
