@ People of New Britain-CT and its environs help me boycott this Chinese restaurant for their racist and rude behavior. I moved to this area less than a month and on 03/27/17 at around 7:30pm I was at this restaurant and ordered some Chinese food. After, two ladies came in to order some food too. After a while the guy at the desk packaged their food for them and they left still waiting for mine. Then came another man i believe he was Chinese, he ordered his food from the guy and came to sit behind me. And again his food was prepared for him after a while whilst i sat waiting for mine. After he had packed this man's food for him, I rose up and approached him and asked how come I came in before the previous customers yet he served them. he quickly took my food which had been served in a plate and began to pack and told me it was not ready but I told him no!! you just took my food when I approached you to inquire. To my surprise he asked if I wanted the food or no. I responded No!! and he took the food back but i told him in the face that he is RACIST and no doubt he is. To me they don't even deserve a star. Who ever is managing this joint must quickly look into this if they care. And on my way home I stopped by at a gas station and to my surprise they had this crispy chicken I was yearning for huh to make things worse it was Halal!!!! Price...
Read moreI've had General TSO's Chicken many many times in my life, this was NOT it! I don't know what this was, It looked like left over mush, or something that had been sitting for hours and hours. I used to door dash and I came to pick up orders many times so I figured my boss and I give it a try I ordered the combo platter she had fried chicken with pork fried rice and steamed Broccoli. She said hers was extremely bland. Mine too, there was no flavor to it at all, there was barely any sauce on the chicken, you should be ashamed of your self to actually serve this disgusting food to a customer, if that's your idea of General tso's then you are sadly mistaken because it was not. Where's the sauce? Where's the breading? Where's the flavor? We wasted our money and will not be returning, i ate 4 bites and threw it out beware this is not good Chinese food at all it looks like they just serve whatever mystery meat this is and call it Chinese food
UPDATE In response to your response: I did eat it fresh, immediately after I picked it up there was no wait time no reheating it...
Read moreI ordered the pu pu platter for two and sweet and sour chicken. The chicken wings were AMAZING. Juicy and flavorful. However, the pork fried rice was super BLAND!! The sweet and sour chicken was just pieces of chicken finger chopped up, was really chewy and I had to mix my own sauce in. Idk if this is how it usually is at restaurants, but Chinese food as I know it doesn't require you to mix your own and is generally very flavorful, fresh, hot and delicious. Overall, I was rather disappointed with this restaurant. All of the fried items tasted the same, which I understand because of the tempura batter, but still. The fantail shrimp tasted exactly like the chicken fingers, despite the obvious difference. The sweet and sour sauce tasted like sweetened water. That's it. Just sweetened water. Iam always rather hesitant when ordering from Chinese restaurants because you never truly know what you're going to get. Some places are really tasty, some are just meh. Cheng's Kitchen was,...
