Food: 0/5 - My experience with the Italian dishes here was disappointing. The Pepperoni Pizza and Carbonara, staples in Italian cuisine, fell short of expectations.

The Carbonara's texture was off-putting, dominated by an excessive amount of cheese, with sparse pasta, greens, and bacon. Its overwhelming saltiness further detracted from the dish's authenticity. The pizza, while visually appealing with its thin, crispy crust, turned out to be overly greasy and soft, contradicting its appearance. The excessive oil and salt were surprising, especially considering it was cooked in a wood oven.

I question whether the chefs sample their own creations. This culinary experience was regrettable. I regret having to share such a negative review, but I believe in honesty.

Horrendous experience all around.

We arrived and we chose a moderately priced glass of wine. It tasted like vinegar, along with the next two alternatives the waiter suggested. By the third the waiter warned us that he would charge us $4 each to try another glass. Mind you we should have walked out at that point, however we stayed as our daughter liked the restaurant.

The food was just horrible this time and my wife and I experienced a bad case of food poisoning. We used to enjoy coming here especially in the summer months when we could sit outside.

We were really forward to going back to Cava after a year's reconstruction. We were extremely disappointed in the service of one of our favorite former restaurants. We were basically ignored and saw our food being delivered to another table and they ate it. This was odd since there were six diners st this table and only two entrees were delivered. They offered nothing for the unbelievable delay but said the kitchen was running late. They should have offered a comp meal or beverage.
