IHOP — Restaurant in New Carrollton

I have gone to this IHOP, three weekends in a row now every single weekend something is missing. Make sure you check your bag before you leave the store. What’s more upsetting is the rude demeanor of the manager and the staff answering the phone. So the first time I went here, I was just missing some pancake toppings so I didn’t say anything, but the second time I was missing an entire order of biscuits and gravy, the pancake toppings and the syrup. When I called the manager refused to write the paperwork up for a refund for the pancakes because I had the pancakes, even though they were incomplete and only wanted to request a refund for the biscuits and gravy Today I called them in advance and let them know I was going to give them another shot and that I had someone coming to pick my order up and when I received it I was also missing the syrup and pancake toppings again. Kimberly, the rude person that answered the phone Said she had personally packed my bag so there was no way that I was missing anything when I explained to her I was missing the whip cream for the pancakes. She said that I had to request that in the morning that they don’t just give it to you, but on the website, you actually have to request for them to take it off. When I called earlier and asked to speak to the owner, who had agreed to give me a gift card rather than a refund the guy that answered the phone who said he was the manager hung up on me, and then they would not answer the phone when I called back three times. All in all poor experience three weeks in a row, I still have yet to be refunded for any of the items that were missing, including the entire order of biscuits and gravy, and at this point I will not be ordering from here, and I urge others not to as well. Came in and their was no one to seat us. When finally seated it took 8 minutes to get our drink order... Another 10 to get our drinks! 10 more minutes until we were asked our food orders! 45 minutes later we get half of the food ordered and an excuse as to why its taking so long, "we only have one cook". After waiting an another 5 minutes my friends senior meal comes and its wrong.. She has had it and says she doesn't want it anymore and sends it back, to witch our server says "I'm sorry". My food was missing toppings and we were not given utensils... By this time other customers had left due to lake of service. Our server says the manager will come speak to us, so we wait, a woman comes and hands me one of my missing toppings and asks if we need anything else, then proceeds to walk off! Turns out that was the manager! Long rant shorter, we finally speak to the top manager who apologizes about the terrible service but doesn't offer anything off our check except my friends meal that was sent back... I've been here before and its never been superb service but this was ridiculous, our server could have let us know when we were seated that their was an issue with the kitchen or something, very disappointed to say...

I am very dissatisfied with this location. Put a order in for curbside pickup was told the exact time of which it would be brought out. With exception I gave it an extra 10min. Called no one answered. Waited and waited, nothing. I proceeded inside whom I was told by Shante that they don't tell you that there 50 orders in front of you. False advertisement. I was told to have a seat. While waiting I experience the impatient, hostility, the rudeness that was given by Shante to customers that had been also waiting for curbside. First and foremost if you are only there for a paycheck wrong industry to be in. If you are only polite for the moment, you need to be on the back line. Its to early to be that nasty. Food was cold pancakes was dry and bacon was soggy. Customer service is must at all times. Its better to listen to customers request so they are no mistakes. Things could and should move alot swifter. Pray even before you start your day come in with a positive attitude and watch your day work...
