If you prefer your Mexican food bland and your cocktails in fishbowls, this may be the place for you. Personally, I don’t like especially spicy food, but even the rice and beans had no flavor until I put some hot sauce on them. The salsa was watery and tasted more like pasta sauce than salsa. Service was friendly and polite, but when we asked to swap one filling for another or for a standard well-cocktail, it seemed like they couldn’t make any changes to what was written on the menu for that item. The beer selection was decent. Overall, the food was below average, and the experience was underwhelming.

I decided to DoorDash an order, well, that was a mistake. I specifically put for the steak tacos, no toppings (see picture) and they put the toppings on anyways. I called once it was delivered and they told me to call DoorDash. Why is it their problem that the restaurant sent incorrect food? So, I contact DoorDash and they provide a $3 refund for a $16 meal, absolutely ridiculous. And now, we have a meal we can’t eat. Such a terrible experience all around. I’ve been a loyal customer for almost 15 years so I’m extremely bummed.

Ray Azteca is always an excellent choice for a Mexican dinner 🍽. They have an extensive menu, and we have never been disappointed by the food quality, though i have to recommend always get the large order of Guacamole for $16 as the smaller $8 portion is the same size as a regular salsa bowl and not really worth it for $8. Also, one improvement they could make for the atmosphere to be 5 stars is to prepare their guacamole fresh, tableside, as some of their competitors do. That would be perfection.

I am sorry to say I was extremely disappointed with the service and food here. I stopped in because I’m new to the area and enjoy great Mexican food. I am also scoping out local restaurants because I want to show my partner the best places to eat when he arrives here from England. I WAS excited to find a Mexican food place so close by...but when I walked in the lady at the front acted as though I was bothering her just by being there. I thought maybe she was having a bad day, so tried to make conversation, show enthusiasm about the food—to which she just seemed to ignore. I placed my order and took my seat...and had the opportunity to observe her being friendly with every other person who walked in the door. Whether take out or dine in...big smile. They seemed to be regulars. I must say this was surprising as I love trying new restaurants, have been to a lot, and most restaurant owners/employees are happy to have new people come in. Odd. Then there was the food. I was hoping that their food was just SO good that they could afford to be rude to customers until they were considered “in the circle”. This was not the case here. Their enchilada sauce was “ok” and their tamale, burrito, and enchilada lacked the usual quality and variety of textures and flavors that I love Mexican food for. They didn’t didn’t even have Spanish rice, beans, or veggies. What they did have...ground meat (I’m assuming beef). If you like a lot of ground beef and not much else...then you might enjoy this place. But you would get friendlier service and more flavor from a...

Great food, have been going to this place for years with my family, always great food and friendly staff and all speak Spanish which is nice. I don’t speak it my self but my non does, always fun to see lol. But, I am writing this new review Becuase, I have had ordered from many restaurants in the past year or so during the Covid times, and many became really poor quality when they became take out only, ray azteca held there quality, and was still great. And may I add, the portion sizes are perfect, not too much, and not too little, you always come out of there feeling like you had enough food, to completely satisfy you and you got what your paid for , but not too little that it wasn’t enough food. In short, you ussuly don’t have left overs. Because either it was so good you had to finish it , or Becuase it wasn’t an excessive amount of food. Either way, five stars for me, there are very fiew local restraunts that have great , attentive, hard working staff, and great food everytime and always. Props to you guys, and a quick suggestion, if you care at all, may I suggest a new sign outside, or new paint if you want more business. If you need it or can afford it. I find my self, and many of my friends , forgetting it is even there, Becuase it kinda blends in with the rest of the plaza. I feel like you guys would really benifit from a new big colorful , good looking sign, and / or new paint outside. Inside looks perfect, and not out of date at all, outside could benifit from a little renovation or revamp. Either way 5/5 stars from me. And thanks for reading. If...

This was my first and last time I'll ever go to this place. Servers were not friendly, no hello or any kind of greeting very flat. Almost seemed like you were bothering them. Waited 5 mins to be asked what we wanted to drink, then another 25 mins after getting our drink what would were ordering. Food did come pretty quickly and staring at it can tell not much of the food made fresh and most likely canned or preprocessed. Chicken in my chimichanga and my son chicken and cheese flauntas, cold in the middle and black on the ends which tells me that pre made and sits in a warmer. The food had no real flavor. I kept being told how great this place is how them expanded their business how this place is the most authentic Mexican around, maybe they should go back to owning 1 and focus on quality, I don't agree on being the most authentic, if had authentic most of my childhood and in my hometown 5 hrs northeast of here.. My son and I finished, my son was tired. After waiting 25 mins for the bill I gave him the keys to go sit in the car. Female server was giving me a dirty stare, as he was walking out, and I had to wait additional 30 mins to get my bill, to be honest for what we were served quality and quantity definitelywas not worth what I get paid that day. Less then 5 minutes later I found out I was correct on the quality of food since I became good friends with my toilet in...
