Sam and her Sugar Shack crew have been creating delicious desserts and beautifully decorated cookies for our family for years (since before she opened the New Lenox bakery). We have used them for every wedding shower, baby shower, celebration & event and have never been disappointed. They listen to every detail and create exactly what you want. Just last weekend they created the most amazing farmers market themed cookies in the perfect color scheme for my nieces baby shower! The best part is that not only does it look fabulous, everything tastes even better. From the cookies, cupcakes, fruit tarts & trifles to the pecan, lemon & cherry-almond bars, everything is delicious every time! Sugar Shack is what New Lenox has needed! The pop-tarts have A HOLD ON ME. They are perfectly portioned, the crust is flaky and they are stuffed just enough without making a mess when you bite into it. My family has loved anything I've brought home for them. We have tried the cake pops, cupcakes, banana pudding, dipped pretzels, various cookies.. almost everything they have to offer. All of it is delicious, fresh and priced well. The staff is always welcoming, friendly and happy to answer any questions.

Make sure you grab an extra chocolate chip cookie for the drive home - you will not want to wait to eat it! You'll taste the cc cookie and wonder why it tastes AMAZING and not like your regular tollhouse...

Everything I ordered was amazing. They had adorable Valentine’s Day treats. The chocolate strawberry cupcake was my favorite, the cake was SO soft and fluffy and the icing wasn’t too sweet and had a perfect strawberry flavor. Mini cinnamon roll was one of the best I’ve had in my life seriously. Pistachio toffee cookie was also so unique, loved the idea and flavor! The macaron was also the perfect texture but the flavor was kind of lacking. Brownie was fresh, but wouldn’t get that again. I also wish they had their full menu stocked earlier in the day, sometimes things are hiding in the back kitchen. You won’t be disappointed with anything you get here, this place is worth the forty minute...
